Europe talks about mineral security — but are we truly delivering on it?

At a roundtable in Berlin, leaders from industry, finance, policy, and civil society came together to confront a difficult reality:
➡️ We recognise minerals as strategic
➡️ But we are still struggling to act strategically

Key takeaway: the gap between ambition and implementation is no longer sustainable

🔎 Three priorities emerged:
1. Stronger leadership & coordination
2. A more strategic external approach
3. A fit-for-purpose EU minerals funding instrument

➡️ Europe must move from reactive, disjointed policymaking to a proactive, integrated minerals strategy.
