🌱 What if you could get more out of every hectare without increasing nitrogen rates?

In Western Australia, we conducted independent field trials in canola under typical Australian growing conditions: dry, low organic matter and a high risk of nitrogen loss.

👉 The question was simple: can we improve nitrogen efficiency and still increase performance?

📊 What we observed:
Across the trials, Thio-Sul® consistently improved yield, oil content, and overall performance compared to UAN alone.
At the York trial site:
• +13% yield with 8% less nitrogen applied
• +$292/ha additional margin

👉 In practice: increased yield, oil content, and gross margins with the addition of Thio-Sul® to UAN.

What’s behind these results?
Thio-Sul® combines nitrogen stabilisation with sulphur nutrition, helping to reduce losses and support more efficient uptake – so more of the applied nitrogen is used by the crop. Beyond its role as a sulphur source, Thio-Sul® is also recognised in the European Union as a nitrogen stabilizer, with EU registration and local trial results supporting its efficacy under Australian conditions.

Our team recently visited North Italy to support our partner Arpa Speciali in developing the KTS® and CaTs® market.

Together with farmers, cooperatives and agronomists, we brought over 60 participants together👨‍🌾. We explored thiosulfates’ role in soil chemistry and translated science into practical insights for better crop performance 🌱This is how we aim to bridge science and practice, so everyone involved understands not just what gets applied to crops, but also what it does and why it matters.

Beyond the seminar, we also visited our CaTs trial plots on apples in South Tyrol 🍎, and strawberry fields in Cesena 🍓—regions with strong potential for our fast-acting liquid fertilizers CaTs® and KTS®!
