Each filter ordered from us is a custom order and we provide our services as such. Filters are customized by size: Outside Diameter, Inside Diameter and Height. Medias: Spunbonded Polyester, 80/20, Fire Retardant and Aluminized Medias, just to name a few. Pleat counts, screens and wraps are all customized based on the application the filter is being used for.

More filtration efficiency is always better, right? 🤔 According to Jamie, not quite!

It sounds backwards, because in theory, a higher efficiency rating should mean cleaner air. While this is true, and higher efficiency media DOES catch finer particles, it also creates more resistance to airflow. That resistance shows up as a higher pressure drop in your filtration system, which puts additional strain on your fan, increases energy consumption, and can shorten the life of the filter itself.

Basically, your system needs to be able to handle that resistance. If it can't, you end up trading a perfectly efficient filter for one with capture rates you may not have even needed in the first place! 😬

A finished air filter cartridge might look simple enough, but getting there involves a surprising amount of hands-on craftsmanship! 🛠️ Our crew measures, cuts, assembles, and inspects every component by hand before a single cartridge is considered complete. But before any filter media is added, our crew needs to build the internal structure that holds everything together first.

Metal cores are what give a filter its structural backbone, keeping the media properly shaped and supported even under heavy airflow or vacuum pressure. Without a properly built core, even the best filter media in the world won't hold its shape or perform the way it should!
