Last week, the CAOEC team hit the road to meet with members based in Central Alberta. These visits give us the opportunity to say thank you, recognize milestones, and hear directly from the people who keep Canada's energy services sector running.

Some highlights:
· Alberta Petroleum Industries Ltd. — It was an honour to sit down with Scott and Shelley Delbridge and present their award recognizing five years of being a CAOEC member. Fun fact: the Delbridge family has actually been part of this industry since 1967 (their Rig Safety Award plaque proves it) and Scott's father, the original owner, served as Co-Chair of the CAODC Service Rig Group in 1979.
· Alsco Uniforms — A big thank you to Thea Klassen for taking us on a tour of their facility. Always valuable to see our members' operations up close.
· Argus — Great to connect with President Dwayne Sample.
· Capital Rig Repair Ltd. — We met with Cory Federowich, who accepted their award celebrating 15 years of CAOEC membership.
· Clay's Industrial Supply Ltd. — Clay Bevans showed us the machine they use for drum balancing for drawworks, an important part of maintaining smooth rig operations.
· Norwest Cooling Systems Inc. — Thanks to Al, Ryan, and Jacob for the warm welcome. Glad to hear the team is putting the CAOEC Rig Inventory & Directory to work sourcing new customers.
· Scona Electric Inc. — Great meeting with Evan Korsh.

To every member who opened their doors to us — thank you. These conversations help shape the work we do on your behalf.

That's a wrap on another Calgary Stampede! 🤠

It was an incredible week, and the timing couldn't have been better. With so much positive momentum around Canadian energy and major projects, there was a genuine sense of optimism throughout Stampede week about the opportunities ahead.

The CAOEC team had the chance to connect with members, partners, and friends at some great events hosted and sponsored by AKITA Drilling Ltd., Alberta Enterprise Group, EnergyNow News & Critical Data, Global Public Affairs, MNP, and Movember Canada.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to welcome us. We enjoy every opportunity to spend time with our members and industry partners, and we're already looking forward to doing it all again next year.

Until then, let's keep the momentum going as we continue building Canada's energy future together.
