Another project wrapped up in North Rustico!

Our crew recently completed the removal of the existing boardwalk and transformed the area with a new gravel pathway. It’s always rewarding to help improve local spaces and create practical, long-lasting solutions for the communities we serve.

A big thank you to everyone involved in bringing this project to completion. We’re proud to be helping build and maintain the places that make PEI such a great place to live and visit.

We had a pretty fun winter here at Birt & Mackay… but we’re definitely ready for spring and the projects that come with it! 🌱🚧

From long days in the shop to being out on the roads with snowbanks taller than us (and yes… a ditched truck or two 🥲), it’s been a season to remember. Through all the cold, chaos, and a few “well that wasn’t supposed to happen” moments, we still had an incredible winter thanks to all the support from you guys.

Now we’re looking forward to warmer weather, new projects, and getting started on all your spring plans. As always, we’ll keep sharing the good, the bad, and the occasional “how did that even happen?” moments along the way.

Let’s get to work — spring is calling!
