Another reason you should hire Gforce from the start:
This morning at 5:30 am, woke up to two missed calls and a Facebook message from someone without air conditioning. I called them back. Turns out they aren’t our customer. There heat pump is 6 months old and installed by one of these larger outlets but yet they don’t appear to have 24 hour service for their customers? I walked him through a few things to try and even told him a few companies to try for a service visit as I do not typically work on someone else’s installations especially if it’s basically brand new. I did however say “too bad you didn’t hire us from the start” Anyway hopefully this homeowner gets his unit repaired and recommends us to anyone looking for a new heat pump installation as we appear to one of the few companies that answer the phone or call back to help out even if we didn’t install the unit in question.
This is not the first time and I expect it won’t be the last time that we get calls from this company‘s customers wanting us to repair because they can’t get a hold of the company to fix the unit.
Ironically, enough way back when this company didn’t have refrigeration people working for them we did one job for them and that was enough for us. Also over the years heard that they claimed that I don’t do service work on equipment that I installed lol.
Funny story when I did the job for that company years ago; when it came time to get paid, we arranged to meet at his place at 4 PM on a Friday. When I got to his place, he wasn’t there. I called him. He laughed and said. “ I’m not home. I’m on my way to McNabbs Island to get drunk and be somebody.”
Thanks for letting me know you weren’t gonna be home bub.
Another funny story years ago when we all challenge the sheet metal exam none of his employees that were in my class pass the exam on the first try I’m the only one in my class is actually passed the exam on the first try. Sad but true.

So I’m doing your “due diligence”for you right here and now!

Sometimes it’s better to choose wisely and not be too concerned about spending a few extra dollars especially if it was on the front of your house for the whole neighborhood to see 🫣
