Truck & Trailer Technician

Phillips Bros Excavating, a family owned and operated company, has been proudly serving the construction industry for over 30 years. Phillips Bros Excavating is a family business of over fifty specialized dedicated employees who are here to get the job done for our customers. Our philosophy is “Small Enough to Listen, Big Enough to Deliver”. We are a diversified company that can handle any job, big or small. Our past and current projects have included but are not limited to municipal street reconstruction, culvert replacements, new construction site preparation, chipping, grading, grubbing, floating, crushing, street sweeping and snow removal. We also provide many specialty services for our customers based on individual needs. Due to expanding business demand, we are currently looking for a qualified Truck and Trailer Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate shall possess the following skills:
- Have a valid class 5 license
- Able to perform complete services on heavy trucks (including oil changes, grease jobs)
- Able to change tires
- Able to repair lights/electrical issues
- Able to repair brakes
- Other tasks as assigned
- Inspection license is an asset, but not a requirement

As a successful candidate, you will have a positive attitude, be a contributing team player, have a passion for a job well done and be willing & able to work long hours when needed. “Our deepest condolences to the family of Gary McMackin, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Gary retired from us in 2023 and left a big hole around the jobsites and crusher. No one could run a loader like "Grand Dad". His colorful jokes and commentary on the two way is greatly missed. Grand Dad, you will be forever in our hearts.
