VP Exploration Greg Matheson explains how the latest drilling expands the known volume of mineralized rock and what the growing alteration footprint reveals about the scale of the broader magmatic-hydrothermal system at Crippleback.

Three drills are now advancing distinct objectives: tracing the stronger mineralized core, defining the system’s margins and preparing to test new greenfields opportunities at Clipper Brook.

◼️ PGC-26-118: Collared approximately 100m west of discovery holes PGC-26-058 and PGC-26-068, the hole intersected 0.24% Cu Eq over 299.4m from 12.6m downhole.

◼️ Higher-grade intervals: The broad interval includes 0.43% Cu Eq over 56.5m, including 0.52% Cu Eq over 35.6m, and a separate interval of 0.43% Cu Eq over 19.8m.

◼️ Mineralization continues at depth: PGC-26-118 re-entered copper-gold mineralization below a mafic d**e, returning 0.23% Cu Eq over 72.7m, including 0.33% Cu Eq over 37.0m.

◼️ Follow-up drilling: Assays are pending from 11 additional holes targeting Moby Dick, with visible chalcopyrite logged in eight holes.

◼️ Next phase underway: Barge drilling is preparing to test beneath Crippleback Lake, while MobileMT surveying is targeting the deeper potential across Crippleback.

Digging into Moosehead: where the gold lies beneath ⚓💰

Weigh anchor, treasure hunters! In this clip from Ep. 17 we're charting the zones buried along the Moosehead structural corridor at our Treasure Island project in central Newfoundland.

The map reads like this: the 511 zone rides the margins of the deformation zone (1.12 g/t Au over 21.5 m in MH-22-511), the 552 zone has high-grade intercepts strung along 250 m, and down at the southern end, the 75 zone on the Western Trend fault gave up the real bounty - MH-21-141 assayed 64 g/t Au over 4.2 m.

The hunt for Moby Dick’s neighbour is underway. 🏴‍☠️

Pirate Gold’s field team has now systematically explored more than 11,000 hectares across the Crippleback region.

The crew’s latest destination: Clipper Brook,12 km east of Moby Dick.

At Moby Dick, drilling has already outlined a 3,100 m by 850 m advanced argillic alteration zone extending to 500 m depth, with initial results including:
0.54% Cu Eq over 180.8 m, including
1.48% Cu Eq over 49.44 m in PGC-26-068.

Now the hunt moves east as Pirate Gold works to establish the district-scale potential for copper porphyry and epithermal mineralization across Crippleback.
