GSR-Glenn Styres Racing & Velocity Race Cars are joining forces with Jr Fitzpatrick for a major NASCAR Canada Series effort at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on September 5th & 6th.

Proven equipment. Professional preparation. A proven driver.

GSR is bringing the equipment. Velocity is bringing the preparation, setup, data and technical resources. And J.R. brings the experience and ability to put it all to the test at one of Canada’s most challenging circuits.

This is about more than one race weekend. CTMP is the first opportunity to show what GSR & Velocity can accomplish together!

🏁 VELOCITY RACE CARS & GSR-Glenn Styres Racing ADD NASCAR CHAMPION CAYDEN LAPCEVICH TO CTMP PROGRAM 🏆

GSR and Velocity Race Cars are proud to announce that 2016 NASCAR Pinty’s Series Champion and Rookie of the Year Cayden Lapcevich will join the organizations for the upcoming NASCAR Canada Series event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

With a championship, Rookie of the Year honours, multiple Super Stock championships and an impressive stock-car racing resume, Cayden brings proven experience and a winning pedigree to the GSR and Velocity program.

Beyond his accomplishments behind the wheel, Cayden currently serves as a Car Chief with Halmar Friesen Racing in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, bringing another level of technical knowledge and experience to the CTMP effort.

As co-owner of the Bouvrette Groleau Motorsports #87 ACT LMS team, with Raphael Lessard behind the wheel, Kéven Groleau knows that building a competitive race program starts with making the right decisions off the track.

After an on-track accident left the front of their proven ACT chassis beyond repair, Kéven and the team chose to partner with Velocity Race Cars to install one of our new concept front clips and help develop the future of our ACT LMS platform.

From innovation and engineering to technical support and respecting their budget, we're proud to have earned their trust. Together, we've worked through the challenges of a brand-new program, learned with every lap, and celebrated an early feature win along the way.

When one of Canada's top race car drivers chooses to partner with a builder, it's never by accident.

Raphael Lessard has raced at some of the highest levels of stock car racing, and when it came time to launch his own Pro Late Model program and work with the Bouvrette Groleau Motorsports ACT program, he wanted to work with a builder that wasn't afraid to think differently.

From innovation and engineering to customer support and on-track performance, we're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished together in a short amount of time. While every new program comes with challenges. The early results, including victories in both ACT competition and Pro Late Model racing, have only strengthened our belief in what we're building.

We're grateful for Raphael's trust in our team and appreciate him taking the time to share his experience.
