Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Alberta AAC Vendor Days, hosted by Edmonton Public Schools and Edmonton Catholic Schools.

It was a great event with lots of learning, networking, and passionate people coming together to support individuals within the AAC community.

Bill was right in his element, leading a hands-on Lift & Lock presentation and putting some Allen keys to work. Hopefully, the OTs, SLPs, and educational staff left feeling a little more confident making adjustments to our mounts :D

A big thank-you to the organizers and everyone who came by to learn, chat, and get hands-on with our equipment. We had a great time and would happily do it all again!

With summer coming to an end, it was great to step away from our day-to-day work, enjoy some good food, and share a little collective anxiety over a game of Jenga :D.

We’re grateful for the people behind IDEAS and the chance to spend time together outside the shop.

We got too caught up in enjoying the picnic to take many photos, but here are a few moments we managed to catch!

It’s outdoor season! And with all this beautiful weather, everyone should have the opportunity to get outside and enjoy it.

Cobbi, our client’s four-legged companion, loves joining him on his outdoor adventures.

Our client wanted to make better use of some mounting equipment he had collected over the years, so we retrofitted it with a magnetic dish and leash attachment. Now Cobbi can tag along for their walks, and enjoy a well-earned treat for being such a good girl!

You don’t always need a completely new setup. Sometimes, you just need IDEAS to work with what you already have, whether that means repairing it, enhancing it, or building something custom.
