Using as little purging medium as possible during the painting process 🎨 and minimizing the amount of paint residue that must be disposed of as hazardous waste helps save money for automakers and protects the environment. 🌱

It is precisely with this goal in mind that the Dürr winning team of the 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘇 𝗗ü𝗿𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in the Sustainability category has expanded the 𝗘𝗰𝗼Supply P special paint supply in such a way that paint loss, purging medium and purging times are drastically reduced. 📉 Find out more in the video. 🎬

Explosiveness and toxicity — these are just two of the negative properties of the liquid electrolytes required for battery cells to function. 🔋 This makes handling the liquid and the battery cell filling process very difficult. However, our colleagues at Dürr Somac have developed a machine that allows battery cells to be filled safely and reliably. 👨‍🔬

With this machine, our colleagues won the 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗻𝘇 𝗗ü𝗿𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 in the Innovation category. 🏆 Watch the video to hear from the winning team about how the machine works. 🎬

At today's annual general meeting, the shareholders of Dürr AG approved a dividend of €0.80 per share for the 2025 fiscal year. This represents an increase of around 14% compared to the previous year. 📈

Dr. Jochen Weyrauch (1st/2nd photo), CEO of Dürr AG, commented: “We achieved a significant increase in operating earnings in a challenging market environment, which underscores the Dürr Group’s earnings resilience. Recent cost reductions and efficiency gains also contributed to this result. We want our shareholders to participate in this success.”

All other proposed resolutions on the agenda were also approved.

The Supervisory Board of Dürr AG has appointed Alexandra Dambeck as a full member of the Board of Management. The 55‑year‑old will take over as CFO on November 15, 2026, succeeding Dietmar Heinrich, who is scheduled to retire at the end of September 2026. 🤝

Alexandra Dambeck: "To me, Dürr stands for technological excellence, innovative strength, and industrial expertise at the highest level. I am very much looking forward to bringing my international experience in finance and technology to this strong company and actively helping to shape the next phase of growth together with its managers and employees. I am particularly excited by the combination of industrial transformation and sustainable value creation."

Alexandra Dambeck is currently CFO of the academic publisher Springer Nature. Prior to that, she spent twenty years with the medical technology group Fresenius Medical Care.

𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗤𝟭 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 📊

We entered the 2026 fiscal year with an improved margin. In the first quarter, we widened our 𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗧 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 to 4.2% (Q1 2025: 3.9%). Further growth is expected in the coming quarters, and the full-year margin forecast of 5.0% to 6.5% is confirmed.

At €957 million, 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 was solid despite the macroeconomic turmoil caused by the war in the Middle East, but declined by 11% year-on-year. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 amounted to €940 million (-7%) in the first quarter and are expected to gain momentum in the months ahead. 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄 came to a distinctly positive €27 million in the first quarter.
