Congratulations to Dr. med. Nibras Naami, winner of the LifeScienceXplained Award 2026 and its €15,000 prize! 🏆

In his Instagram Reel, "Fall aus der Klinik: Krampfanfall im Supermarkt" ("Case from the Clinic: Seizure in the Supermarket"), Nibras from the "Hand, Fuß, Mund” team transforms the story of a 15-year-old patient into an engaging medical mystery. He takes his audience step by step through the diagnostic process, explaining the often-overlooked role of the spleen in our immune system.

The result? Three minutes of clear, relevant, evidence-based health communication made for social media.

This combination of medical expertise, strong storytelling, and an accessible format convinced the LifeScienceXplained jury.

From lab to life: Excellent research is just the beginning. Turning discoveries into therapies takes strong partnerships between academia and industry.

At our first Global Academia Summit, 78 experts from universities, research institutions and start-ups in 31 countries came together at the Sartorius Campus in Göttingen, Germany, to explore what makes these partnerships work.

For Sartorius, academia is a key partner: Alexandra Gatzemeyer, Member of the Executive Board at Sartorius, highlighted academia's role in driving innovation in industry. Matthias Seiche from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development emphasized the importance of a skilled workforce and strong research institutions for local pharmaceutical production in Africa.

At the summit, we signed cooperation agreements with leading universities and research institutions – another step towards long-term partnerships, from lab to life.

Sartorius continues its positive growth and margin trajectory with strong nine-month performance

The life science group Sartorius sustained its positive business trajectory in the first nine months of 2026 and delivered robust growth in sales revenue and profitability. The company also significantly improved its cash flow generation and further reduced its leverage.

💬 Sartorius CEO Dr. Michael Grosse said: “Our business continued to develop positively in the first nine months of 2026. The recurring business with consumables remained an important growth driver, while demand for bioprocess equipment and instruments continued to recover. Building on the traction gained in recent quarters and supported particularly by its bioanalytics portfolio, the lab division continued its positive trajectory and showed substantial sales growth. This clearly reinforces our confidence in the full-year guidance for 2026.”

➡️ Growth across both divisions: Lab and bioprocess divisions contribute almost equally to strong sales increase

➡️ Operational Group sales revenue excluding U.S. tariff compensation to customers grows by 8.1 percent in constant currencies

➡️ Underlying EBITDA margin up 0.5 percentage points to 30.2 percent

Accelerating innovation in bioprocessing starts with bringing research and industry closer together. That is exactly the aim of the TUM–Sartorius Cell Culture Biomanufacturing Lab (CCBM), which we officially launched together with the Technical University of Munich (TUM).

🔬 Designed as a state-of-the-art, highly digitalized hub, the joint lab will give researchers and students access to advanced cell culture and bioprocessing technologies – from screening to scale-up – while fostering collaboration across the TUM research community.

🤝 By combining TUM’s research capabilities with Sartorius’ bioprocess expertise and technologies, the platform will advance research in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, modeling approaches, process analytical technologies and automation, helping translate scientific discoveries into robust and scalable applications.

🎓 The lab will also contribute to educating the next generation of bioprocess engineers and help accelerate the path from scientific discovery to real-world impact.

🍂 When autumn arrives in Göttingen, it comes with a rustle. Not only in the leaves falling from the trees, but also in the pages of books being turned. It’s time for the Göttingen Literature Festival again. 📚

For the 35th year, Göttingen and the surrounding region will celebrate a season dedicated to literature, science, and entertainment. From graphic novels to science slams, literary readings to thought-provoking discussions, the festival's diverse program offers something for every interest. With its wide range of events, the festival creates spaces for exchange, bringing together different disciplines, perspectives, and people through stories and ideas.

🤝 As a long-standing partner of the festival, we are pleased to welcome guests once again to the Sheddachhalle in the Sartorius Quartier.

🎉 Today, we are celebrating 25 years of our M'Hamdia site in Tunisia together with employees, partners, and key stakeholders.

What started as a small manufacturing facility in 2001 has grown into a key assembly hub serving the global biopharma industry. Following investments of more than €21 million between 2021 and 2025, the site today employs more than 800 people and plays an important role in providing single-use consumables to customers worldwide.

Health Day on the Sartorius Campus 💪

A yoga session in one room. A talk about resilience in another. Conversations about family caregiving, cancer support and stress management throughout the day.

This week's Health Day at our Göttingen campus offered employees a wide range of health services, from practical screenings such as posture scans, sleep analyses, and eye health checks, to talks and advice from health experts, as well as Pilates and active break sessions. 🧘‍♀️

And right in the middle of it all: the Sartorius Health Team, welcoming colleagues, coordinating the program across campus, and creating space for conversations about health in the workplace.

"For us, the day was really about prevention," says Saskia from the Sartorius Health Management Team. "If colleagues leave with one or two practical ideas for their own health in everyday life, then the day has achieved exactly what we hoped for."
