What does it take for surface treatment solutions to perform well in the field?

Above all, proximity to the application. That's why we operate one of the best-equipped technology centers in surface finishing — developing and testing under conditions that reflect real production environments.

We continuously invest in our equipment: from the BVL pre-treatment system, Dürr paint application robots to the J1 machining center from LMW. This allows us to replicate real processes accurately and tailor solutions to specific quality requirements.

Global Recycling Day 2026: Keeping resources in circulation

Recycling is a key lever for a sustainable industry. Our subsidiary Rematec GmbH contributes by efficiently recycling solvents and paint sludge and returning avoidable waste materials back into the economic cycle.

The impact is measurable:
In 2025, 53,157 tonnes of CO2e were saved compared to the production of chemicals from virgin materials.

This means:
♻️ Conservation of valuable resources
♻️ Support of closed-loop material cycles
♻️ An active contribution to climate protection

This commitment is also recognized externally: In the latest NQC SAQ Assessment, Rematec achieved 82 points, significantly above the industry average of 67 points.

More than 821,000 kg CO₂e saved – with Kluthe Hakuform S & SE cooling lubricants🌍

In 2025 our customers saved more than 821,000 kg of CO₂e by using our sustainable cooling lubricants Hakuform S and Hakuform SE.

We don’t only help our customers track CO₂e savings, but also support them with customized process solutions on their path towards achieving their climate goals.

These savings are also a great addition to any Corporate Sustainability Report (CSRD), which are now mandatory for many companies across the EU.
