When other methods reach their limits, the JETMASTER shows its strengths!

When tasked with exposing the transition structure of a bridge near Bad Driburg, faced unique challenges: only high-pressure water jetting was to be used, as other methods, such as chiseling, would have placed too much stress on the structural integrity of the bridge.

The solution: the use of a JETMASTER high-pressure robot for controlled concrete removal in hard-to-reach areas.

Technical Key Facts:
▪ JETMASTER high-pressure robot with lifting mast and guide rail
▪ Two coupled diesel power units (AQUAJET® 144 & AQUAJET® 204)
▪ Ø 1.5 mm I-nozzle
▪ 2,800 bar operating pressure at approx. 56 l/min

Results:
▪ Consistently precise 25 cm removal at a distance of 35 cm from the transition structure
▪ Access to even hard-to-reach areas
▪ Rapid project progress
▪ Significant reduction in operator strain and maximum workplace safety through reduced physical exertion and safe working distance

In high-pressure systems, precise flow control is essential for reliable operation. If valves aren’t properly matched to the medium, it can lead to energy losses, increased wear, and unplanned downtime.

At Hammelmann, our check valves are designed to respond automatically to pressure differentials. This enables a smooth transition from suction to discharge while helping to reduce flow losses and maintain stable processes. We choose valve geometry to the specific medium and operating conditions:

▪ Cone and plate valves: The discharge valve is designed as a cone valve, while the suction valve uses a ring plate design. Both sealing surfaces are integrated into a single, compact component. This space-saving arrangement minimizes dead space and improves volumetric efficiency.
▪ Double cone valves: Designed for demanding conditions, distributing loads across two sealing surfaces to reduce wear and extend service life.

The result: consistent performance, longer service intervals, and reliable operation under pressure.

Even minor leakage can have significant consequences in high-pressure operations. Contamination in the crankcase not only reduces pump lifetime but can also affect overall process reliability.

A hermetic bellows seal creates a sealed barrier between the fluid end and the crankcase, preventing the transfer of liquids and gases between both areas.

How it works:
▪ Hermetic separation: The design keeps the lubrication system isolated, helping to protect internal components from contamination.
▪ Low-wear operation: The bellows moves elastically with each stroke, avoiding the friction typical of conventional sealing solutions.
Reliable performance: With no sliding contact, wear is reduced, supporting longer service intervals and lower maintenance requirements.

By separating the “wet side” from the “clean side,” the system supports stable operation and consistent performance over time.
