Full boundary re‑fence wrapped up — every line, every level, every step future‑proofed for the customer’s upcoming deck and astro turf plans.
All heights set so that once the deck frame goes in, it’ll be a fully compliant 1.8m privacy fence around the whole space. Built right, built ready 👌

Proper graft has gone into this bad boii — new posts, rails, kickers, sleepers, stepped sections, cladding, gate, the lot! This garden is now ready for phase 2… and yes, we’re building the deck too.. so watch this space 😎👀

Before ➡️ After… this one TRANSFORMED the whole side of the garden 🔥

What started as a boundary full of rottweiler‑sized holes is now a clean, solid 9.2m closeboard run — tight lines, solid posts, and a proper 1.2m finish that actually secures the space again.
Strong, simple, built to last. Exactly how it should be 👊

A little trip outside my usual patch this week… all the way up to Great Torrington 👋

But when the customer is a VIP — my own grandmother — you make the journey without thinking twice ❤️

What started as an awkward, uneven courtyard has now become a warm, safe, usable space she can enjoy every day.
Raised deck, curved edge, boxed steps, and a clean balustrade run — with the dog‑leg left open for her potting area 🌱

Every cut, every board, every detail… this one meant a bit more.

Another transformation wrapped up 👊🔥

This one started as a tired, uneven setup that needed more than a quick fix — so we rebuilt the whole access system properly from the ground up☝️

New frame.
New boards.
New staircase.
Fresh handrail.
Vertical cladding.
Access sorted.

We reused the original spindles and the top‑deck fence panels where they still had life in them — cleaned up, refitted, and brought back into a layout that actually works. No waste for the sake of it, just smart, tidy work 🪚

The whole space is now safe, solid, and genuinely usable.
Furniture back in place, greenery rehung, site reset, waste cleared — ready for summer straight away 😎

Love seeing a space go from “it’ll do” to a proper part of the home 🏡

Another one in the books, another client buzzing, and Rough Cut Co rolling into the next transformation 💪

Tamar Valley Phase 2 🔥🌿

Back in St Ann's chapel this weekend giving the garden a proper reset — tidy lines, clean edges that carry on from the bit we did last time, some fresh mulch and a new gate! Making it a space that finally feels like it’s got some life back again 👌

Full day on the graft:
• Beds widened & edged right through
• Weeds and invasive plants out
• Membrane down, mulch in
• Gravel raked through & washed
• Step slabs lifted & replaced
• New bespoke gate built & hung
• Shed hinges swapped
• Front bed mulched
• Grass cut

Slabs in the corner are just placed temporarily so the customer can choose her final layout — we’ll lock it in once she’s picked her look 😎

Big shout‑out to Jenn Foxx for jumping in and smashing the graft today 💪
And of course Rocky, top‑tier supervisor as always 🐾
