Selected Project | A Home Reimagined

We're sharing a closer look at one of our recently completed transformations in Enford, Wiltshire.

Our clients wanted to create a calmer, more sociable home, opening up a series of separate spaces and creating a much stronger connection with the garden beyond.

Significant structural alterations transformed the ground floor into generous kitchen, dining and living spaces, while upstairs the layout was reworked to create a new master bedroom, dressing room and ensuite.

Perhaps the best way to describe the finished result is through the words of our clients:

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

It’s been a very productive week for the team, with plenty of progress being made across our projects!

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
We’ve been starting the utility construction while also finishing off the external works.

🔹 Salisbury (Renovation)
At our newer Salisbury renovation project, the team have been preparing the subfloor ready for the construction of the internal stud walls.

🔹 Enford (Extension)
The demolition phase is coming to an end and we're getting ready to start digging the new footings next week.

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
We're back at one of our existing projects! It’s always great returning to a project and seeing how everything is coming together. This time, the team have been busy plasterboarding and getting everything prepared ready for plastering.

🔹 Enford Photoshoot
We also had a fantastic photoshoot this week at our Enford renovation project. What an incredible transformation! Thank you to Kit Fanner and our clients. We’re really looking forward to sharing this with you all, but for now, we’re keeping it behind closed doors! 🚪😉

A Lovely End to the Week
This afternoon, myself and the team met up at one of our completed projects in the Woodford Valley to enjoy seeing the finished project, with some delicious pizza from The Great Bustard🍕

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

Well, it’s certainly been a rainy one this week! I’m sure we can all appreciate a bit of rain after the heat we’ve had, but I think we’ve had quite enough now!

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Salisbury (Renovation)
The kitchen is now finished at our Salisbury refurbishment project and it’s looking fantastic.

🔹 Woodford Valley
We’ve been adding the finishing touches to the outdoor seating project.

🔹 Salisbury (Internal Refurbishment)
We’ve also started a brand-new internal refurbishment project in Salisbury. It’s early days, but we’re looking forward to seeing this one progress.

🔹 Durrington & Amesbury
A couple of milestones this week, with the landscaping now finished in Durrington and our Amesbury project officially complete.

🔹 Enford (Renovation & Extension)
We’ve started another new project in Enford this week and next week we’ll be getting started on another one!

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

Today is Nathan and Charlotte’s wedding anniversary ❤️ Wishing you both a very Happy Anniversary! We hope you have a lovely day celebrating this special milestone together. 🥂

Here’s what we’ve been up to this week 👇

🔹 Durrington (Structural Alterations)
The team have been busy with the landscaping works, making great progress outside and bringing the space together nicely.

🔹 Salisbury (Refurbishment and Extension)
We’ve had plenty going on across our two Salisbury projects this week. At our refurbishment, the team have been working on the landscaping, while at our Salisbury extension, we’re adding the finishing touches as we work towards completion.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
The Amesbury project is looking fantastic, with the final elements now coming together.

🔹 Woodford Valley
There are also some exciting carpentry works underway in the Woodford Valley, with new outdoor seating taking shape. We can’t wait to see the finished result!

🏗️ Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

I’m back again! on time and back to my normal format! 😂 A big thank you to Clive for stepping in and taking over last week’s update for me.

It's been quite a week for the lads, with plenty to get through and a few challenges along the way. They've worked incredibly hard and I'm really proud of the team for everything they've achieved this week.

Here's what we've been up to 👇

🔹 Durrington (Structural Alterations)
The patio is now finished and we've moved onto the path. The new doors are also installed and it's really starting to come together.

🔹 Andover (Extension)
The wallpaper is up, flooring is complete and the finishing touches to the fence and gate have been carried out.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
The team have been busy working on the kitchen at our Salisbury renovation and our lovely client has shared some photos with us. I absolutely love seeing the progress, It’s looking incredible!

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
The Amesbury project is now in the final stages, with just a few finishing touches left to complete.

This week's photo is a little different. It's from when one of our younger team members took part in Youth Week with Parkstone Yacht Club. It's great to see our team getting involved outside of work too!

Weekly Update

If Paris was writing this then it would have been on time and her normal format.

This week has been a little different with Nathan away with his family and friends.

We have been busy across the various projects with lots going on with various trades. I will let Paris update on progress next week, but a great effort from the whole team.

It was great speaking to Tim at Tiato signs about sign writing our latest van to join the fleet. He is a great guy and always real easy to deal with and has great ideas to get our brand out there.

We hope Nathan and his family have a wonderful holiday.

For us in the UK have a wonderful weekend.

Progress is being made as we move through the project and prepare for the external works.

Floor preparation has been carried out as this project moves closer to completion.

The team have been back in the Woodford Valley this week, with the project looking better every time we visit.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
Plasterboarding is progressing well as we get everything ready for second fix.

🏗️ Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

Nathan has been enjoying a well-earned couple of days of annual leave, spending some quality time with his family. We hope you've had a lovely break, Nathan, you've certainly earned it! ☀️

Here's what we've been up to 👇

🔹 Durrington (Renovation & Alterations)
This week we've started a brand new internal and external renovation project in Durrington. We've already created the structural openings, ready for some stunning new bifold doors to be installed.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
Over in Amesbury, decoration is now complete, the external patio has been reinstated and we're another step closer to handing over what has been a fantastic project.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
The roof is now complete and we've created the internal structural opening.

🔹 The Great Bustard
It's always a pleasure to be back working with our friends at The Great Bustard, where we've been carrying out some internal works this week.

This week's photo was taken by Dan a few weeks ago at our Enford project. What a beautiful cottage it is, I just had to share this photo with you all.

🏗️ Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

Before we get into this week's progress, I just wanted to say another huge thank you to our amazing clients. With the recent heat, you've been doing such a fantastic job of looking after our lads on site with cold drinks and offering sun cream, it means a lot to the whole team and we're incredibly grateful for your support.

Here's what we've been up to 👇

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
We're into the final stages over in Amesbury, with plastering progressing well and the new patio taking shape. The team are busy wrapping everything up ahead of second fix, which is due to begin next week.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
The roof membrane is now on and first fix electrics and plumbing are scheduled for next week as the project continues to move forward.

It wasn't just the team on the tools this week! Nathan has been busy with site meetings, speaking with clients and planning the next stages of both current and upcoming projects.

This week's photo is of apprentice Aiden, who's doing a fantastic job on the trowel. Keep up the great work!

A little gesture goes a long way. 💐

We recently sent some flowers to our lovely clients as a thank you for welcoming us back into their home for a photoshoot of their completed project. It was so nice to receive this photo of them taking pride of place on their dining table, along with a lovely thank you message.

We really do have the best clients and we're so grateful for your continued support. 🏡
