🏗️ Weekly Update from The Best Build Team

Before we get into this week's update, yesterday I celebrated my 28th birthday 🎉 definitely starting to feel old now! I spent the day with Dan and my son, which was absolutely lovely. We went bowling, had some fun at soft play and finished the day with a delicious meal. It was the perfect way to celebrate. Please enjoy this week's slightly cheesy photo of Dan and I.

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
The brickies have finished the brickwork and it’s now up to wall plate level and ready for the roofing works to begin.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
A big week over in Amesbury with the roof construction completed, steelwork installed and glazing fitted. We've been battling the weather to get everything watertight but the team have done a fantastic job.

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
We're into the finishing touches now, with decorating and general site tidying underway. Nathan and I also had a great meeting with our clients on Tuesday to review the progress.

🔹 Grateley (New Project)
Nathan attended a meeting this week regarding an exciting new project in Grateley... keep an eye on our page for more updates on that one.

🔹 Salisbury (Renovation)
We've been completing the finishing touches to the ensuite and WC with everything coming together nicely.

🔹 Warminster
The finishing touches are being added to a new utility room and it's looking fantastic.

🔹 Andover (Extension)
Decoration works have now started and we're getting everything ready for the kitchen delivery next week.

🔹 Woodford Valley
Scaffolding is now up for a roof that needs re felting and battening. This is because the old roofing felt goes brittle and holes appear.

What a week it's been! A huge thank you to the team for all their hard work especially with some challenging weather conditions thrown into the mix.

🏗️ Weekly Update from The Best Build Team ✨

This week Nathan headed down to Cornwall for some important meetings and catch-ups with Clive, as Clive is still currently unable to travel. It was a great chance for them to properly sit down, talk through projects, future plans and all the important bits that keep everything moving forward behind the scenes.

Whilst there, Nathan also collected some new artwork for The Client Hub, which we’re really looking forward to getting hung up and sharing with you all soon. Fingers crossed Clive is back driving again soon so he can properly catch up with the rest of the team.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
It was a very busy day over in Amesbury with the steelwork underway.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
We’re now adding the finishing touches as we begin bringing this project to a close, it’s looking fantastic.

🔹 Woodford Valley
The team carried out a large-scale concreting job this week and it was a huge effort from everyone involved.

We have a new van to join the fleet next week, It’s currently having the final valeting touches done so it meets our standards before being collected and put straight to work.

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team 🏗️

I had the privilege of heading over to our Enford extension today to take a look for myself and honestly… wow. What a project! It’s looking incredible and I couldn’t be prouder of the whole team. I snapped this week’s photo whilst I was there and I think you’ll agree it’s stunning 📸

We’ve also had our brick layers over at our Amesbury extension this week and that project is coming along really nicely.

Sorry for the slightly shorter update this week, but everyone is flat out working hard behind the scenes.

This weekend is looking like an absolute scorcher so we hope all of you enjoy it. It does mean a shorter week for us next week but definitely a well-earned break for the lads.

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team 🏗️

It’s been a very busy morning for me getting 9 quotations prepared by Nathan sent out to our lovely clients, definitely plenty of coffee needed 😅 We’re really grateful for all the continued support.

This week’s photo is of our extension over in Amesbury and it’s coming along incredibly well. The clients are really happy with the progress so far and we were especially pleased to receive this lovely feedback from them:

“We are very pleased with the brickwork thus far, all of the boys have done a fantastic job.”

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
We’ve now got the brickwork finished up to wall plate and we’re awaiting the steel delivery so we can complete the gable and get the steels installed. The scaffolding is also fully up now.

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
Over at Enford, we’ve been carrying out second fix plumbing and electrics, alongside decorating and cracking on with the external landscaping works.

🔹 Salisbury (New Extension)
We’ve started a brand new extension project in Salisbury with excavations underway and everything being prepared ready to pour the concrete footings early next week.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
At another one of our Salisbury projects, we’ve been completing the finishing touches with second fix carpentry and getting the floors fully prepared for the flooring contractor.

🔹 Woodford Valley
We’ve also installed some very high-end glazing for one of our clients in the Woodford Valley.

Another really positive week for The Best Build Team.

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team ✨

I’m back👋 firstly, a big shoutout to Clive for stepping in and doing a great job with last week’s post, although I think I’ll be taking the social media reins back now. The move also went well… but safe to say I’m never moving house again 😂

It’s been another busy week behind the scenes with client meetings, planning applications going in and lots of exciting progress across our projects. Nathan has once again been flat out meeting with both new and returning clients and it’s brilliant to see our order book continuing to fill up so well.

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
This week at Enford we’ve been decorating, completing carpentry finishing touches, and cracking on with some of the external works.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
Over in Amesbury, the brickwork is progressing nicely and the steelwork order has now been fully signed off and is officially in production.

🔹 Woodford Valley
We’ve continued carrying out various works in the Woodford Valley, making sure everything keeps running smoothly for our clients.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
At Salisbury, we’ve been plastering the final internal stages while also preparing and tidying up the external works.

We’ve also submitted another planning application this week for a major development project.

Today, Nathan is enjoying some well-earned family time celebrating his wife Charlotte’s birthday, wishing you a very Happy Birthday and hope you have the best day 🎉

I also came off a really exciting meeting with Clive this week where he showed me the new The Best Build Team Portal our colleagues will soon be using. It’s shaping up brilliantly already and I can’t wait to see the finished product.

Weekly update from The Best Build Team

Paris has been doing a great job keeping the weekly updates flowing, but this week she has a very good excuse… she’s moving house with Dan over the long weekend.

So it’s back to me for this one.

I thought I’d share a work shot with you from a project Nathan and I were working on about 6 years ago, which we delivered during Covid, making it all the more memorable.

This was a large extension and one that still stands out for us. It’s always good to look back and see how far things have come, both in the work we deliver and the team around us.

Paris will be back next week once the boxes are unpacked and normal service will resume.

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team 🏗️✨

It’s been a great week on site and the weather has definitely played its part. The sunshine has made a huge difference to the team’s morale, making for a much more enjoyable and productive week all round. A lovely photo this week as well, captured by Dan.

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
This week at Enford has been all about plastering and those important finishing touches. We’ve also started work on the ensuite and dressing room, with everything coming together as we prepare for the kitchen installation on Monday.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
In Salisbury, we’ve been progressing with second fix work in the kitchen while also starting to make good on some of the external works to tidy everything up.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
We’re now up to DPC level and getting ready for the floor to be concreted, great progress as the structure starts to take shape.

🔹 Woodford Valley
We’ve also been back in the Woodford Valley carrying out various works for one of our prestigious clients, always a pleasure to return and continue building on that relationship.

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team 🏗️✨

It’s been a great week both on and off site. The lads had an incredible time at The Swan for their quiz night with plenty of laughs and a good evening all round. Clive was gutted to miss out as he’s currently out of action with an injury, but he’s been keeping busy behind the scenes as he usually does.

On top of that, Daniel celebrated his birthday and had a brilliant day spending it with his son, making it an extra special one

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
Over in Enford, we’ve been plasterboarding and getting everything prepared ready for plastering. Alongside this, we’ve also made a start on another extension.

🔹 Amesbury (Extension)
We’ve kicked off our new extension project in Amesbury, getting the site dug out ready for foundations and removing the old conservatory. A great start to what will be an exciting build.

Nathan has once again had a busy week, with plenty of meetings with clients and suppliers, keeping projects aligned and making sure everything continues to run smoothly.

Weekly Update from The Best Build Team 🏗️✨

It’s been a great week across our sites, with the team back feeling refreshed after the Easter break. The improved weather has definitely made a difference too.

Here’s what we’ve been up to 👇

🔹 Enford (Renovation)
At Enford, we’ve been getting everything ready for the frameless glass installation, alongside plasterboarding and preparing the fireplace.

🔹 Salisbury (Extension)
Over in Salisbury, second fix has now been completed, with worktops going in and the project really starting to take shape.

🔹 Amesbury (Upcoming Project)
We’re getting ready to start a brand new extension in Amesbury next week, which we’re all looking forward to getting underway.

🔹 New Build (Upcoming)
We’ve also had a topographical survey completed for an upcoming new build, another exciting project in the pipeline.

It’s great to see the team making time to switch off, with a quiz and social evening at The Swan Enford on Thursday 16th April. Good people, good atmosphere and plenty of laughs, it all plays a big part in what makes the team what it is.

Happy Easter from The Best Build Team

You’ve probably noticed it’s now Paris giving the weekly updates, but Thursdays are her time to spend with her beautiful boy. So, with it being Easter weekend, it’s fallen back to me to step in this week as the team finish for the long weekend.

We just want to wish everyone a wonderful Easter break and hope you get to enjoy some time with family, friends, and maybe a bit of sunshine too.

If you’re looking for something to do over the weekend:

The Great Bustard in Great Durnford has some great events on. It’s a favourite spot for our team and always well worth a visit.

Over in Enford, The Swan Pub is reopening this evening. We wish them all the very best, we can’t wait to be part of the new journey, and I’m looking forward to popping in next time I’m in the area.

Enjoy the long weekend and we’ll be back to normal service next week, with Paris back at the helm keeping you all properly updated on the projects, restoring order after my brief takeover.
