Great start to our two house re-roof! We stripped the slates, replaced and repaired the rafters, insulated with Superfoil Insulation and were felted with IKO Rubber Shield. Ready to get the slates on!

🌟 Announcement!!🌟

As of the 1st January 2025, we can proudly announce we will be no longer be Dickinson & Son Building and Roofing Contractor and will instead be trading as Bowland Builders Ltd, this has been a long decision however feels the best move for the business as we grow and progress.

Please feel rest assured we will continue to deliver high quality work at reasonable prices as we always have and we thank all of our customers old and new for their continued support.

The future is looking bright and we look forward to taking on new clients and continuing with old as we grow!

We recently took on the challenge of repairing a wall above a bay window. After taking it down, we constructed a robust steel frame supported by the joist to ensure it’s strong and secure for the wall to sit back on. Once that was in place, we carefully blocked it back up and finished it off with render and dashed it for a sleek look.
