We recently surveyed a basement beneath a hillside property in Torrington, North Devon, where water ingress is preventing the space from being used.

The owner would like to transform the basement into a dry, habitable area, so we will be specifying a cavity drain membrane system in accordance with BS 8102:2022 – the British Standard for protecting below-ground structures against water ingress.
