//MATERIAL CHOICES\\ Creativity, imagination and boldness! A project that had them all. This house was in seriousness need of some TLC, and it got so much more.

If you scroll to the final picture you’ll see how the rear elevation once was. We’ve added this sleek, spacious, modern extension to the back of the house whilst keeping the front half traditional, yet stylish.

There’s a vast range of materials included in this build, ranging from brick, block, steel, zinc, aluminium, glass, Douglas Fir, Siberian Larch, render and a bit more steel for good measure. These materials all complement each other in way or another to produce this uniquely fantastic home. Internal update coming soon.

\\FEATURE BRICKWORK// 🧱 This clever design links the outdoors with the indoors, I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a really strong feature!

On this project we worked closely with the client and architect to ensure the vision of the design was captured in the build. It’s all in the detail, even down to the mm of the raked joints. This brickwork runs all the way from the peak of the landing to the back end of the garden wall. We can’t wait to show you the rest of the build, this one is packed full of big features and will be a stunning home.

The sun has finally arrived and things have started shaping up! As the brickies make progress the chippies start loading up those nail guns.

This barn restoration in a conservation area, set in a beautiful rural setting, was a full rebuild from the ground up after severe subsidence — carefully reconstructed using piled foundations, significant steelwork, brickwork and mortar to match the existing house. The reclaimed roof tiles would make you think the building has always been there.

The original crittall windows were sandblasted and powder-coated to restore them to their former glory.
