This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong planning, communication and scheduling skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

📍 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Coordinating daily surfacing operations across multiple sites
✔ Scheduling labour, plant, materials, and transport
✔ Liaising with clients, site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers
✔ Supporting daily and forward operational programmes
✔ Managing last-minute changes and operational requirements

✅ Skills & Experience:
• Previous operations or coordination experience preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
• Highways, construction, or surfacing experience desirable

The last financial year may be behind us, but the momentum hasn’t slowed. We’ve hit the ground running, carrying that strong finish straight into an exceptionally busy start.

March and April proved particularly demanding, bringing both high workloads and ongoing industry challenges—most notably rising costs driven by the Middle East conflict. Throughout this period, the continued support from our clients and suppliers has been invaluable.

Even with these challenges, March and April ranked among our busiest months on record, maintaining the trend set throughout the year. This wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible workforce, whose flexibility and commitment continue to drive everything we achieve.

As the refurbishment of the iconic bandstand at Bedford Park nears completion, attention turned to the final element — the surfacing - and DJT Surfacing was proud to play its part ✨

Our newly installed resin surface delivers a smooth, durable finish that not only looks fantastic but also compliments the extensive transformation work carried out on the structure.

The refurbishment has included a full redecoration of the bandstand and perimeter fencing, alongside the installation of security grilles and prefabricated stairs to improve access — restoring the space as a vibrant focal point for community events and performances and ready just in time for the concert this Saturday — we can’t wait to see the space come alive and be enjoyed by everyone! 🥁🎺🎻
