Works are well underway at The Park Centre, Knowle.

Mobius Projects is delivering refurbishment works at this important Bristol community facility, including:

Completion of the new roof
Renovation of the internal sports hall
Delivery within a live community environment

The sports hall refurbishment is due to reach completion in early September, while The Park Centre continues to operate as usual.

We would like to thank the team at The Park Centre for being so friendly and accommodating throughout the works. Their support has helped us minimise disruption to the valuable work they continue to deliver within the local community.

Project On Site: Kingswood High Street Regeneration

Work has started on the Kingswood High Street regeneration project for South Gloucestershire Council, with Jan Kattein Architects supporting the design team.

Delivered by Mobius Projects, the commercial refurbishment works are now underway, with scaffolding erected at KES as the project moves into the next phase.

A live regeneration project focused on improving the built environment and supporting the continued development of Kingswood High Street.

New Team Member: Estelle Slater

We are pleased to welcome Estelle Slater to the Mobius team as a freelance Quantity Surveyor. Estelle joins us at a busy time, bringing a wealth of technical depth to our upcoming project pipeline.

With a career spanning both the contractor and client side, Estelle’s experience is impressively broad. She has delivered across civil engineering, nuclear energy, solar, and data centres, as well as new build and refurbishment schemes. Her expertise is backed by a solid understanding of contract management, from JCT through to NEC.

Most recently, Estelle spent seven years with National Grid, working on the £938m Hinkley Point Transmission project. This level of experience in high-value, complex infrastructure fits perfectly with the Mobius approach to programme control and commercial intelligence.

Outside of work, Estelle stays just as active. She’s a keen swimmer, a developing golfer, and a dedicated horse rider who looks after three horses of her own.

We are pleased to welcome Jamie Hunter to the Mobius team as a Freelance - Quantity Surveyor.

Jamie brings more than 30 years of construction industry experience, supporting contractors and developers across residential, commercial, healthcare, defence, retail and infrastructure projects valued at up to £40 million.

His career has covered the full commercial lifecycle — from pre-construction advice and procurement through to cost control, forecasting, change management, commercial reporting and final account. Jamie also brings strong experience working under NEC, JCT, FIDIC and PPC contract forms.

This depth of commercial knowledge is particularly valuable in complex delivery environments, where clear forecasting, proactive risk management and programme control are essential to achieving the right outcome for clients.

Away from site and the commercial function, Jamie is Treasurer of Old Park Cricket Club, a qualified ECB Level 1 Umpire, a lifelong Newcastle United supporter and an occasional golfer.

With 27 years of experience in the construction industry, Wayne has built a strong career working predominantly with Tier One contractors across a wide range of sectors and project types.

His background also includes time working in Dubai, where he gained valuable international experience in a fast-paced major projects environment.

A strong estimating function is critical to programme certainty, commercial control and early project planning — and Wayne brings exactly that depth of experience to the team.
