We’re Hiring: Senior Estimator
Looking to take the next step in your career in construction and estimating?
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team, working closely with our Commercial Manager and playing a key role in delivering competitive, high-quality tender submissions.
This is an opportunity for progression to Managing Estimator and to be part of a collaborative team where your expertise will directly influence project success—from early-stage pricing through to final handover.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing end-to-end tendering activities, including planning and coordination
- Preparing and presenting detailed tender submissions
- Pricing bills of quantities, including build costs, preliminaries, and fees
- Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
- Tracking tenders through the full lifecycle
- Analysing subcontractor returns and producing work package comparisons
- Researching current market rates for materials and subcontractors
- Measuring quantities for tender enquiries
- Supporting bid/no-bid decisions with the Business Development Manager
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify scope and negotiate terms
- Handing over successful tenders to the construction team and supporting project kick-off
- Providing insights and feedback on tender outcomes
