We’re proud to have completed the roofing works at the Urgent Response Centre at Countess of Chester Hospital, delivered in partnership with Read Construction. This £3.5 million facility has been designed to improve access to urgent mental health care, providing dedicated assessment spaces and a Section 136 suite in a purpose-built, supportive environment.

We delivered roofing installations across the main roof, link roof, and reception extension (135m² total) using the Sikaplan SGK-18 single-ply system in Lead Grey, supported by a 25-year guarantee. Our works included full warm roof build-ups with S-Vap 5000E SA AVCL, Sikatherm tapered stone wool insulation, and high-performance waterproofing membranes, designed to meet strict healthcare requirements for durability, fire safety, and moisture control.

All detailing to upstands, penetrations, and drainage outlets was completed using Sika-approved components, ensuring a fully watertight and secure finish.
Completed to a high standard, this project delivers a robust, long-lasting roofing solution suited to a critical healthcare environment.

We’re complete over on Pope Lane. A warm roof build up was installed utilising Sika’s Sikaplan single ply membrane to the main roof of these new build commercial units in Penwortham.

It was a pleasure to be working with Robinson Construction again and we’re looking forward to our next project together.

We’re delighted to be working with GK Construction on the Victoria Street development in Denton, where the former baths site is being transformed into 35 modern new homes in a prime location adjacent to Victoria Park.

We will be installing a complete Protan SE single ply roofing system across the 1004m² roof area, delivering long-term durability, thermal efficiency, and high-performance waterproofing backed by a 20-year Protan guarantee.

The roofing build-up will include a fully sealed vapour control layer, followed by 180mm PIR insulation installed in staggered layers to achieve a U-value of 0.11 W/m²K and minimise thermal bridging. The system will then be completed with a Protan SE single ply membrane featuring fully heat welded laps for a continuous watertight finish.

All roof areas will include specialist detailing to parapets, drainage outlets, lift overruns, AOVs, service penetrations, mansafe posts, SVP terminations, and gutter interfaces, ensuring full system integrity and long-term weather resistance throughout.

All works will be completed in strict accordance with Protan technical specifications and current UK roofing standards, ensuring a high-quality finish and long-term performance for the development.
