40+ Years of Precision

Please meet one of the longest-serving members of our Tamworth team, Production Manager Andy Lawrence, who joined Mercian Cutting Tools back in 1982!

Leading the production team, his days are spent running CNC cutter grinders and keeping the wheels turning on the everyday running of the business. Before being acquired by M.A. Ford Europe Ltd earlier this year, Andy was Director at Mercian Cutting Tools, bringing decades of industry expertise with him.

When asked what skill matters most in his role, his answer was simple: understanding cutting tools inside and out. And what does he find most rewarding? Producing quality tooling!

Outside of work, you'll find him behind the wheel as forest rallying is his passion, alongside making the most of well-earned holidays.
