Dynamic milling performance with the XV5CB.
Combining our latest ALtima® Q coating, staggered chip-breakers, and open-end geometry, our 5-flute XV5CB high performance end mills are designed to deliver optimal metal removal on ISO P, M & S materials with up to 4xD axial engagement.

Ideally suited to dynamic milling strategies, the XV5CB is available in 2xD; 3xD or 4xD flute length options and diameters from 10mm to 20mm, while variable pitch flute geometry minimises harmonic vibration allowing speeds of up to 350m/min to be achieved and a 0.12mm feed per tooth. Through coolant is also available on the 3xD flute length option.

THE REGO-FIX DEMONSTRATION BUS – WEEK ONE!
The REGO-FIX Demonstration Bus has now been on the road across the UK for a full week – bringing live demonstrations, the latest tool holding technology and expert advice directly to engineers.
It’s been a fantastic first week meeting customers, showcasing the latest REGO-FIX solutions and demonstrating how advanced tool holding can help improve performance, productivity and cost efficiency.

The REGO-FIX Demonstration Bus continues its UK tour next week, and we’re looking forward to meeting even more engineers and machining professionals.

WorldSkills Shanghai 2026

This week marks the end of a two-year journey for Tomas Ankers (left), as he represents Team UK in CNC Milling at WorldSkills Shanghai.

Getting to this stage takes far more than just turning up for a competition. Over the last two years Tomas has put in a huge amount of training, practice and dedication, working closely with Training Manager Adam Youens (right) in preparation for competing on the world stage.

M.A. Ford has been proud to play a small part in that journey, supporting the CNC Milling programme with cutting tools and technical support throughout the training cycle.

It's great to see all that work finally come together.

Good luck to Tomas, Adam and everyone representing Team UK in Shanghai.
