We’re pleased to be attending Eden Camp’s brand-new Modern Military Weekend on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026.

This new event will explore post-war military history, from the Falklands War and Gulf War through to more recent operations, with live re-enactments, veteran talks, interactive displays and an impressive selection of post-war military vehicles.

We’ll be bringing along a number of Vulcan XH558 display items, including a Vulcan XH558 ejector seat, as well as a selection of aviation books and exclusive Vulcan XH558 merchandise available to purchase.

Come along, meet the Vulcan XH558 team, learn more about the aircraft’s Cold War story, and enjoy a fascinating weekend for anyone interested in modern military history, aviation, vehicles and the people who served.

National Volunteers’ Week

National Volunteers’ Week is a chance to recognise the people who give their time, skills and energy to support causes across the countryand for us, it is the perfect opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you to our own volunteers at Doncaster and Stratford.

Across the Trust, our volunteers make so much of what we do possible. Our engineering team care for XH558 and help keep her maintained, safe and fit for her unforgettable engine ground runs. Our events and visitor experience teams welcome visitors, support tours, share the story of XH558 and help make each visit special.

Our Volunteers also support our education work in schools and colleges, represent the Trust at events and shows, assist with the webstore, support fundraising and give their time behind the scenes in countless other ways.

To every one of our volunteers, thank you. Your dedication, enthusiasm and care keep the story of Vulcan XH558 alive and allow so many people to continue to Feel the Howl.
