This week (May 18–22) marks , a vital campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the biggest risk in our industry.

The latest HSE figures are a stark reminder of why we do what we do:

📉 35 people tragically lost their lives due to a fall from height at work in 2024/25.

🛑 Falls from height accounted for 28% of all workplace fatalities in Great Britain.

As an contractor, we hold ourselves to the absolute highest safety standards in the UK. We strictly adhere to TG20 and SG4 regulations, ensuring that every structure is meticulously designed, inspected, and handed over.

But collective protection is only half the battle. Personal fall protection is the ultimate safety net. We ensure that:

🦺 Correctly fitted, fully inspected safety harnesses are mandatory for our crew wherever required.

🔗 100% tie-off compliance is enforced, because a harness is only life-saving if it’s connected.

📜 Regular training and NASC toolbox talks are provided so our teams know exactly how to wear, and anchor their gear.

We don't just build platforms; we build peace of mind. Every scaffold erected is designed to ensure that everyone working at height goes home safely at the end of the day.

🏗️ Happy International Scaffolders Day!

Today, we raise a glass (and a spanner) to the unsung heroes of the site.

When we look at incredible buildings and infrastructure, we rarely see the temporary structures that made them possible, but without scaffolders, the Construction industry simply wouldn't get off the ground.

Scaffolders are the backbone of the entire project lifecycle. They are heavily involved from preconstruction all the way to final delivery.

To all the scaffolders out there working in the freezing cold, the blazing heat, and everything in between, thank you for keeping the industry moving and keeping everyone safe. We couldn't build the future without you setting the stage first. 👏

Huge thanks to / for their advanced Design Tool. We recently engineered a complex buttressed fully freestanding Layher System Scaffold for one of our industrial clients, and the software was a total game-changer. 🏗️

In the world of industrial scaffolding, clarity and precision aren't just "nice-to-haves" they are safety and operational essentials.

While standard 2D drawings are vital, the software allows us to build a full 3D environment. We can generate an exploded view that reveals every constituent element of the structure. This level of detail makes the review and sign-off process incredibly smooth, ensuring all stakeholders have 100% confidence before a single ledger is moved.

Located on Beaufort Street in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Allen Hall serves as the Roman Catholic seminary and theological college for the Province of Westminster.

Operating within an active educational and spiritual environment requires a highly specialised approach.
