This week, ENODA’s Senior Manufacturability and Scalability Engineer, Eduardo Nunes, returned to Edinburgh Science’s Careers Hive.

Careers Hive gives P7–S3 pupils the opportunity to explore careers in STEM through interactive activities and conversations with industry professionals, helping them understand the different skills, experiences and pathways into the sector.

Throughout the event, Eduardo spent time sharing his own experiences and offering advice as students explored their interests and future career options.

Reflecting on the experience, Eduardo shared:

“Many students are looking for answers to questions they haven't quite figured out how to ask yet. For me, it's about understanding how I can positively contribute, through listening, sharing experiences and having genuine, open conversations.”

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to join our Engineering Development team in Edinburgh.

The design, development, and implementation of Silicon Carbide (SiC) based power electronic converters are fundamental to the performance and scalability of the Enoda PRIME® Exchanger.

You’ll spend your time:
- Designing and developing medium-voltage power electronics hardware.
- Defining system-level requirements, hardware architecture, and interface specifications for power conversion systems.
- Performing circuit simulation and system modelling using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, and PLECS.
- Designing and developing PCBs using tools such as Altium.
- Leading hardware verification and validation activities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, reliability, and performance.

ENODA is hiring – IT Infrastructure Engineer 💻

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Infrastructure Engineer to help strengthen, optimise and scale the IT systems that underpin ENODA’s operations.

Working closely with our Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will look after the systems that ENODA’s engineers, operations and manufacturing teams rely on every day: Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, Azure, Windows and macOS devices, site networks and firewalls, and backup.

You’ll also play an integral role in delivering IT infrastructure for ENODA’s expanding operations, including our new Innovation Centre in Edinburgh.

We are looking for 🔎

- Three or more years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering.
- Solid experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and expertise on Azure infrastructure.
- Experience of firewalls, site networking, VPNs and wireless across more than one site.
- Endpoint management for Windows and macOS with Intune and/or Jamf.
- PowerShell scripting (Microsoft Graph an advantage) and disciplined change control.
