Planwell Recruitment Ltd is an Industrial Recruitment specialist dealing with major national companies. We are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Administrator to join our small friendly team. Initially this is a period of 15 months maternity cover but could lead to a permanent role.

You need to hold a driving licence for this role (company car available).

You do not need experience in this area as full training will be provided, but we are looking for a candidate local to the Erith area and ideally with a background in admin and or customer service.
Main duties are, but not limited to:

• Create and place adverts on our advertising platforms
• Conduct telephone screening before booking suitable candidates for interview
• Interviewing candidates for roles face-to-face or via video link
• Confirm and book staff for work as per the requirements of the customer
• Partake in the ‘out of hours’ phone cover rota on alternate weeks (once trained)
• General administration tasks which could include preparing rota’s, requesting references, RTW checks and DBS
• Visit client premises to hold staff inductions and discuss any staffing issues
• Visit other offices or client premises to register staff
• Action any queries in a timely manner
Key skills:
• Must have good level of spoken and written English and be a good communicator
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work in a demanding environment
• Outstanding customer service
• Good time management
• Team player, able to work well in a small team
• Excellent computer skills across all Microsoft office applications including Outlook and excel
• Advantageous if speak a second language

Hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm
Once trained you will partake in the out of hours phone cover rota, alternate weeks (7 days) this involves taking the company mobile phone home and actioning any emergency cover or additional client requirements.

Hourly pay starts at £13.25ph, once trained and partaking in on call phone rota the hourly pay is increased plus you will receive additional payment for being on call (and after 6 months travel expenses are paid of £40.00 per week)

Candidate requirements:

• Transport Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced transport office environment.
• Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to manage drivers on-site and speak with clients politely and professionally.
• Tech Savvy: Good Microsoft Office skills (experience with Transport Management Systems is a major plus).
• Organisational Skills: The ability to multitask, work under pressure, and use your own initiative.
• Flexibility: Comfortable working most Bank Holidays as part of your standard rota.


Shift: Monday to Friday, 1400 to 2200, includes working most bank holidays. 40 hrs paid per week.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of materials, and maintaining organisation within the warehouse environment.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Store articles according to identifying factors while filling orders or issuing supplies from stock
- Assisting Goods Out when needed on larger consignments whilst ensuring that customer-specific packing requests are adhered to
- Responsible for ordering the consumables to suit company needs (not chemical) and maintaining aspects of PPE already approved by the Health & Safety representative
- Coordinating with the Inventory Controller, the control of restricted parts and Section 5 parts

Essential Skills:

Role purpose:

Responsible for the cleanliness of all designated production rooms, equipment, and facilities areas using appropriate equipment/and or materials as supplied in line with cleaning schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness with assigned areas by ensuring that relevant work instructions/schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed.
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of all washrooms/toilet facilities, locker rooms, canteens, kitchens, offices, and other common areas including warehouse.
• Ensure cleanliness of factory production areas, including and not an exhaustive list the production equipment, surfaces, overheads etc.
• Liaise daily with other members of the production team in identifying areas/procedures requiring improvement to allow improved performance.
• Ensure the stocks of cleaning chemicals are stored safely and report any shortfalls.
• Ensure all products are used and stored in accordance with the relevant COSHH Regulations.
• Ensure completion of all hygiene related documents i.e., daily check-list reports.
• Observe and adhere to all H&S procedures, ensuring you are working in a safe manner, that personal safety and that of others is key priority.
• Carry out duties in line with SOP and schedules, ensuring efficient and correct use of all materials and machinery.
• Attend appropriate training sessions appertaining to post. Also undertake any additional training the company may see appropriate such as team building, collaboration exercises and relevant production training or refresher courses.
• To carry out such ad hoc duties that may be required by the business from time to time.

Person Specification:

• Proven experience of working within a similar role within the food industry sector.
• Good interpersonal/verbal/written skills
• Good understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene.
• Demonstrate high standard of hygiene.
• Self-reliant, ability to work both as an individual and a team member.
• Excellent attention to details
• Can-do attitude and willingness to support team in times of demand.
• Strong safety concise working practices, always adhering to health and safety.

Qualifications:
