A great start to the Data & AI Hub at TechNExt Festival 2026, hosted at the National Innovation Centre for Data within The Catalyst, Newcastle.

The event has brought together industry leaders, innovators and businesses to explore the opportunities and challenges surrounding Data, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

We've heard some excellent discussions throughout the day, covering topics including:

Since September, our BeMS Electrical Division has seen significant growth. We've expanded the team with some fantastic new additions Liam Hall, Stevie Hall & Phil Bell alongside two new Control Systems Engineers who have progressed into the division from within CMS. During this time, we've delivered a range of exciting projects and continued to strengthen our capabilities across the business.

We're also proud to have become an official Siemens Solution Partner and members of the Building Controls Industry Association (BCIA), as well as building strong partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers including Belimo, Forest Rock and Western Automation. These relationships enable us to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions for our clients and continue expanding our capabilities.

There's been a huge amount of progress in a short space of time, and with plenty more opportunities, projects, and growth ahead, the next 12 months are shaping up to be incredibly exciting.
