Supply - Econekt manage the ordering, supply and shipment of all structural elements from the manufacturing facilities throughout the UK and Europe. Installation - Dedicated installation teams that construct the buildings on-site, and site managers who oversee all the works during the entire construction process ensures that each structure is installed to Econekt's exacting standards.

This low-energy structural shell showcases just how versatile ICF can be. 🏠️

Throughout this project, ICF has been used in a variety of applications, from retaining walls and quick-build garage shutters to wall panels designed as deep beams supporting the cantilevered first floor.

Rather than relying on multiple construction methods, the same system has been adapted to suit the different structural requirements across the build. The result is a consistent approach that supports both the architectural design and the low-energy performance of the home.

It's a great example of how ICF can be used for far more than standard external walls, providing solutions for some of the most technically demanding elements of a project.

Bracing and pour preparation are among the most critical stages of any ICF build.

Proper bracing ensures the walls remain straight, stable and fully supported throughout the concrete pour, helping to deliver the accuracy and structural integrity the finished build depends on.

Building a high-performance home isn't just about achieving great insulation values. It's about how every structural detail comes together.

On this project, large clear-span ground floor areas, glazed gables and flat roof sections required significant structural steel throughout the build.

Rather than creating thermal bridges, the steel has been carefully incorporated within the ICF structure, maintaining the continuity of the insulation and supporting the home's low energy performance.

It's a great example of how thoughtful engineering and careful detailing allow ambitious architectural designs to be delivered without compromising building performance.
