🚧 **Progress Update from Waterlooville!** 🚧

Work is moving forward at the former Barclays Bank in Waterlooville, where our team is installing a brand-new internal drainage system.

🔹 Floors have been precision saw-cut and broken out.
🔹 New foul drainage lines have been installed and are now ready to be backfilled with reinforced concrete, restoring the floor to its original level.
🔹 The existing manhole has been successfully bridged using spun steel pipe and Flexseal collars for a robust, long-lasting solution.
🔹 New trenches have also been excavated through the rear car park, allowing connections into the existing manhole network.

Another project progressing smoothly thanks to the hard work and expertise of the Slark Construction team. We look forward to sharing more updates as the transformation continues!

⭐ Existing driveway finish removed and beautifully relaid with fresh Cotswold stone
⭐ Complete new Indian Sandstone rear patio installed with a smart brickwork border🧱

We completely stripped it back from an overgrown meadow and transformed it into a freshly topsoiled garden, ready to be seeded and brought back to life. 🌱🏡

This is the second time we've been called upon to dismantle a boat on the mudflats.

After safely retrieving a sunken vessel from the Solent shipping lane, our team used an 8-tonne excavator fitted with a rotating grab, working from heavy-duty mats to carefully dismantle the wreck.

All materials were separated for responsible disposal, leaving the shipping lane safe, clear, and fully navigable once again.

What a transformation! 🌿✨

This garden has had a complete refresh, turning a tired and dated outdoor space into a clean, modern and much more usable area for the whole family to enjoy.

The existing slippery and tired timber decking and old artificial grass have been removed and replaced with a bright, low-maintenance finish that completely opens up the garden.

The old conservatory was removed to make way for an extended patio, transforming the garden into a larger, more usable outdoor living space for the whole family to enjoy.

Works included:

✅ New Indian Sandstone patio areas creating a fresh, modern look
✅ New 30mm premium artificial grass for a clean, practical finish
✅ Contrasting block border detail to frame the lawn
✅ Improved layout, making the garden feel bigger and more usable
✅ Garden relevelled providing a much better flow from the house into the garden.
✅ A smart, low-maintenance space ready for summer

🚧 Commercial Unit Portsmouth – Project Update! 🚧

Great progress continues on our Portsmouth commercial unit project, with the steel frame now fully erected and works moving ahead at pace. 👷‍♂️🏗️

Recent progress includes:

✅ Internal & external storm and foul drainage installed and signed off by Building Control
✅ Ducting laid and ready for new cable installations
✅ Perimeter and internal blockwork now completed

A big thank you to J.Sankey Brickwork & Landscapes for delivering the blockwork to such a high standard 👏

There’s still plenty more to come on this project, so keep your eyes peeled for further updates! 👀

A strong finish this Friday as one of our teams completed a new internal drainage package at the Hampshire Fire & Police HQ 🚔🧑‍🚒

The project involved cutting out and removing the original concrete floors, installing new drainage to support updated staff showers and sanitary facilities, and reinstating everything to specification. ✅

This included Fillaboard, dowels bars & two layers of A393 mesh, and finally finished off with a lorry load of RC35 concrete all barrowed throughout the building. 👷‍♂️

Great effort from the team—quality work all round 💪
