This stunning Mercedes 500SEC belongs to one of The Den very first customers, who sends her cars all the way from Spain to ensure they receive the highest level of care and attention!

This particular car is a perfect example of how the services offered by Retropower Trim Shop can complement those provided by The Den.
The car came to us to be brought up to scratch mechanically, have its stance subtly enhanced, gain a little more induction and exhaust noise, and have its interior completely reimagined.

When it came to the latter, the brief was simple: “80s, but classy.” We introduced beautiful blue Muirhead Leather throughout, had the wood veneers completely refinished in Birdseye Maple by Marton Bespoke, and added a wireless phone charger and navigation screen.

10 years ago we created this Jaguar, a car which sparked a sequence of grand-tourer and luxury saloon build projects which continues today. With a Hemi-powered Jensen Interceptor, V8 Aston DBS and Supercharged XJC in build, along with an 80s-excess themed XJS and another V8 XJC project booked to start over the coming years, it's safe to say British muscle cars are fast becoming our forte!

Traditional skills hand-in-hand with modern tech. Stunning hand-wheeled rear end was first modelled in CAD. The Bonnet is rendered in carbon-fibre and features integrated cold-air feeds to the engine. The doors open and latch electrically with LiDAR sensors to avoid damage.
