Out with the old conservatory base 👊

Another big step completed on this Class Q barn conversion in Holsworthy 🔨

This was all about getting the floor build-up ready for the polished concrete finish — laying the sand blinding, installing the membrane, and fitting the insulation ready for the slab pour.

Attention to detail at this stage is key to achieving a flawless final finish 👌

Slowly but surely this old barn is being transformed into something special.

Building it the traditional way 🧱💪

This is the next stage we have done for on the Marhamchurch extension.

This extension is going up using tried-and-tested blockwork, keeping things solid, durable, and built to last. We’ve incorporated a 100mm insulated cavity to boost thermal performance, helping keep the space warm in winter and cool in summer 🌡️

Another step closer to transforming this space into something special 👌

Restoring history the right way 👷‍♂️✨

We’ve carefully removed the old, failing lime pointing and replaced it with fresh lime mortar, bringing The Bray back to life.

This traditional method allows the building to breathe naturally again, preventing trapped moisture and protecting the structure for the future.

Not only does it enhance the look, but it also ensures the stonework is properly weatherproofed for many years to come 🌧️🧱

We’ve removed this tired old back door and replaced it with a stunning new anthracite grey door — instantly modernising the space and improving both security and energy efficiency.

It’s amazing how much of a difference the right door can make. Clean lines, contemporary colour, and a perfect finish 👌
