30 degree grafting 🥵

Back to the trusty pick and shovel. With no digger access, a section of a wonderful couple whose garden to be taken back to extend a patio for a larger gazebo and whirlpool bath so they can enjoy and utilise their space more.

A few hard days graft bringing everything from the front to the back in the 30 degree heat but that doesn’t deter us at all. 🪏

Another small job acquired and completed ready for next phase.

Creating opening for front door which next phase will be for a new porch to be built and customer fitting the front door himself. They also created an internal opening from an existing window so needed to rebuild some stonework and lime render to finish to allow for an internal door frame to be fitted at a later date.

Nice to work on an old converted barn working with natural products.

Old pond walls were taken down, external tap and sockets moved, for the use of another little sitting area further down the garden where they can enjoy beautiful views. Slabbing to match previous of 600x600 charcoal riven, render wall, plus re-slab of another section by the decking.

Due to a few days off with bank holiday and Torrington Mayfair meant was able to squeeze in a small plastering project inbetween. Dining room, downstairs and upstairs hallway ceilings and a little wall. Ceilings scrapped, pva&sbr applied before skimmed.

Another space filler completed

Last of the most recent works completed. Customer required replacement bell cast beading as the old galvanised had rusted out. Replaced with new stainless steel bell cast, scratch and top coat. Float and sponged to match the existing ready for him to paint soon as it dries out.

Happy to squeeze these little jobs in as customer was very flexible.
