We’re excited to invite students (Year 11 and up) to one of our Apprenticeship Taster Evenings (from 4.30pm - 7.30pm) to be held at the Humber Refinery, a chance to explore the opportunities available at Phillips 66 Humber Refinery and discover what it’s like to be part of our team.

👷‍♂️ What to expect: Learn about our company, culture, and the exciting apprenticeship roles we offer. Meet our current apprentices, experienced technicians, and training partners from CATCH

Get hands-on insights into the trades and ask questions in a relaxed, informative setting.

🔧 Apprenticeship roles available for 2027:
• Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians
• Mechanical Technicians – Rotating & Fixed Equipment
• Fabrication Technicians – Welding, Pipe Fitting & Plating
• Rigging Technicians – Specialists in lifting, moving, and securing heavy loads using cranes, hoists, pulleys, and ropes.

Our 4-year employed apprenticeship programme offers:

✅ Opportunities to progress to HNC and beyond

What a fantastic start to the NE Lincs Skills Fair!

Our team is enjoying meeting students and talking about the fantastic opportunities available right here on their doorstep – from apprenticeships to university pathways and everything in between.

We’re also sharing what we do, the wide range of careers available, and how young people can take their first steps towards an exciting future. It’s been great to see so much enthusiasm and so many brilliant conversations already!

The Phillips 66 Humber Heart charities team recently held a food and baby bank collection in support of two fantastic local organisations in Immingham – the Baby Bank at the Bert Boyden Community Centre and the food bank run by One Voice (Making a difference in Immingham, Habrough & Stallingborough).

We were completely overwhelmed by the generosity of our colleagues, with donations including clothes, toys, car seats and prams – enough to stock a small shop!

Alongside the incredible donations, we were also proud to provide £1,000 to the food bank, helping them purchase the items that are needed most.

A huge thank you to everyone involved – the Humber team truly showed their Good Energy in abundance.

We’re proud to be supporting this year’s Armed Forces Cleethorpes weekend once again with a £10,000 donation! 🇬🇧 As an employer of many veterans and a proud Gold Armed Forces Covenant holder we take our responsibility seriously in supporting those who serve - past, present, and their families.

We’re proud to share that the Phillips 66 Humber Refinery mentoring programme, designed with and delivered alongside the Engineering UTC Northern Lincolnshire, has won Education Project of the Year at the Humber Renewables Awards 🙌

Now in its second year, the programme supports Year 10 students at the UTC and now also Oasis Academy Immingham, with our Humber Refinery volunteers providing one‑to‑one mentoring to build confidence, resilience and future skills.

The impact is real — students have improved their exam results compared to mocks and increased their attendance over the year.
Huge congratulations and thanks to our amazing volunteers 💙 A fantastic way to round off Phillips 66 Good Energy Month!
