This country doesn't seem able to sort the problem out but you could sort your personal situation out. Maybe not with Hydro?
But there are other options available.

The solar panels on one container ship will generate more lifetime electricity than the cargo of 50+ LNG ships or 100 ships carrying coal.

Same voyage, wildly different energy returns, and switching to renewables means about 40% of today’s (polluting) shipping can also be stopped (fuel for solar and wind power needs no shipping!)
