🐞 Bug Hotel Competition

Join KWL in helping the environment by designing and building your very own Bug Hotel - a fun way to support nature while encouraging sustainability, creativity and teamwork.

🏆 Prizes are up for grabs for the most imaginative bug hotel designs.

Candlelighters is one of seven local charities to receive a share of a £6,500 donation from KWL, chosen by our people. The funding comes from a supplier who chose to fulfil its Corporate Social Responsibility through KWL, asking that the money be used to support charitable causes close to home.

In keeping with our community-first values, we invited colleagues to nominate and select organisations that mean the most to them, ensuring the support would make a genuine difference locally. Candlelighters, which supports children with cancer and their families, will use this donation to continue providing vital emotional, practical and financial support when it’s needed most.

By putting the decision in our colleagues’ hands, we’ve been able to support important causes like Candlelighters and enable our team to champion the organisations they care most about – reflecting our commitment to strengthening communities across Hull and the wider region.

Every contribution makes an impact!

Construction progress at Matheson Court 🏡

We’re excited to share that six properties have already been sold at our new-build development in East Hull.

These new aerial shots really bring the site to life – showcasing the spacious homes, generous gardens and the beautiful backdrop of mature trees and greenery surrounding Matheson Court.

The first 5 schools/community groups to contact us will receive a free starter kit to help you build your bug hotel.
