This is what happens when people don’t hire companies that are licensed waste carriers! Yes, that is an Asbestos roof, just up the road from our home! Yes, a company does require a Licence, an HSE, to dispose of Asbestos! Yes, customers sometimes balk at the costs involved but these are cost that we have to pay for clean, safe disposal. Unfortunately this is the alternative 😩 It is highly recommended to use a company that either holds a licence themselves or use contracted licensed professionals. Licensed companies are searchable through the Asbestos Removal Contractors Association (ARCA) or the HSE register.

It seems like forever since we last posted. With all the rain we’ve experienced we’ve had to make a lot of hay whilst blessed with the sunshine ☀️🤞🏼 it lasts! Here’s a lovely before & after of a very happy homeowners smart cladding & flat roof job we’ve completed. The brick work will be rendered by the owner & they would like suggestions on what colour to choose? Have a great week all.

Another job well done 👏🏼 Our clients over at Apex scaffolding contracted us to do a complete sheeting job, now all ready for Apex to add their solar panels 🌱🌎 Oh & I’m informed that the black pipe thingy ma-bobby is called a Dektite pipe flashing that has been angled to divert water. We’ve gone through so many “asking for roofer recommendation” posts on spotted pages to offer our services with our website link. Why? Previously our work has been through recommendations & word of mouth, we have never had to advertise, but now, with social media & noticing over the past few years a huge spike in new roofing firms starting up, it’s becoming such a saturated market we have had no choice but to keep up!
We know our worth, we know our pricing is not only competitive but often less expensive than some that don’t have decades of experience & we stand by the quality of our workmanship. We also know the consequences, particularly to home owners, when they’re unfortunate enough to hire a rogue trader &/or the potential devastating consequences to anyone hiring a roofer when H&S is ignored! We might not be as social media savvy as some but we’d really appreciate being tagged in these Spotted Posts.
