⚡️ Consumer Unit Upgrade Completed ⚡️

A rewire has been highly recommended to the customer due to the age of the installation and limited circuit provision.

The existing Wylex consumer unit offered no RCD or RCBO protection and had no surge protection, leaving circuits and connected equipment with limited protection against electrical faults and transient overvoltages.

🔹Old Wylex board safely removed
🔹New Hager consumer unit installed
🔹Individual RCBO protection on every circuit
🔹Integrated Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD)
🔹Fully tested and certified to BS 7671 requirements
🔹Improved safety, fault protection and future reliability

Space was extremely tight on this one, but with some careful planning we managed to get the new board installed (just about! 😅).

📍 Waddington – EICR completed today identifying areas requiring improvement to bring the installation up to current safety standards. Full inspection, testing & certification carried out with recommendations provided to the customer.

📍 Hykeham – Replaced 3 light fittings giving the property a much more modern finish. Simple upgrade but makes a massive difference to the look of the home.
