We're delighted to congratulate our apprentice, Jimmy, on successfully achieving his Level 2 Ductwork Qualification.
This milestone reflects Jimmy's hard work, dedication, and commitment to developing his skills within the ductwork and ventilation industry. As part of our ongoing investment in people, we're proud to support our team in building rewarding careers and gaining the knowledge and experience needed to thrive in our sector.
This achievement also marks an important milestone in the growing partnership between IDSL and Target Zero Training. IDSL are nearing completion on a prestigious Central London project, delivering a complex ventilation package across basement and roof plantrooms, with distribution spanning eight floors.
A key element of the project involved the design and manufacture of bespoke air source heat pump plenums. Working closely in collaboration with both the client and equipment supplier, the IDSL team developed a tailored solution that satisfied strict planning and height restrictions due to the building’s high-profile neighbouring surroundings.
This project highlights IDSL’s ability to combine technical expertise, collaboration, and innovative design to meet challenging project requirements within demanding city environments.

IDSL are pleased to announce the successful completion of a multi-use development project located on the borders of Westminster and the City of London.
Commencing in November 2025, the project was delivered through a carefully managed phased programme, enabling early handover to the client. This structured approach has allowed the client to achieve beneficial use ahead of the original programme, supporting earlier occupancy and operational readiness.
A great example of collaborative planning, efficient delivery, and adding real value through programme optimisation.

IDSL have secured another phase to a Data Centre works in North London.

This project once again highlights IDSL engineering skills whilst working with the client to detail bracket systems and distribution for buildability. The on-site team have devised a bespoke systems to assist with the large scale install, assisting procurement and programming of the works. The previous works and skills of the onsite team placed IDSL at the forefront for selection when project award was being discussed.

IDSL highlighted the importance of utilising the same team as they had used previously to ensure productivity and avoid others going through a complete learning curve on the special requirements.

At IDSL, we are passionate about protecting our planet and reducing our carbon footprint — because the choices we make today will shape tomorrow.
As part of this commitment, we have ordered a total of 1,674 tonnes of XCarb® steel, delivering a carbon saving of 2,835 tonnes of CO₂ emissions to date. And we’re not stopping there — we have already forward ordered a further 1,000 tonnes, continuing to drive meaningful change across our projects.
By working closely with ArcelorMittal, we are actively choosing lower-carbon materials that support a more sustainable construction industry without compromising on quality or performance.
This Earth Day’s theme, Our Power, Our Planet, highlights the importance of collective action — and we’re proud to play our part in building a more sustainable future.

A new chapter for IDSL is almost complete.
Our new sustainability-driven manufacturing facility is now built and ready, with final signage and fit-out works underway. This marks a significant step forward in our journey, creating the space and infrastructure needed to support our continued growth.
The expansion will significantly increase our manufacturing capacity, allowing us to take on larger, more complex projects while maintaining the quality and precision our clients expect.
We’re excited about what this means for the future of IDSL and look forward to sharing more as we prepare to open the doors.
