We started life back in 1986, and until August 2015 we were known as Woodpecker Windows. rving the fenestration industry and known for its commitment to service. We are much more than a ‘window supplier’ and hence the name Woodpecker Windows was limiting our growth potential and vision for the future, therefore the decision was made to rebrand. We needed a name that reflected our values, our experience, our quality and most of all our honesty and dedication to our clients. A shortlist was drawn up and the name ‘Arcura’ was chosen. The word Arcura is derived from accuracy and arc, a bridge between supplier and customer. Adding ‘fenestration’ to the strapline perfectly encapsulates our offering – “the design, construction and placement of windows and other openings to a building”.

Progress is taking shape at our live Cricklewood project, where Arcura is delivering a comprehensive fenestration package designed to combine performance, security and a high quality finish.

Our scope includes uPVC windows and doors, robust steel service doors and an aluminium main entrance access system. We are also providing bespoke flashings to the heads of the windows and doors, carefully coordinated with the brickwork detailing to achieve a clean, precise and weather resistant finish.

It’s great to see these key elements coming together on site as the development moves forward. Stay tuned for further updates from Cricklewood.

Shaun has been part of the Arcura journey for 13 years, helping deliver high quality window, door, and curtain walling solutions across projects nationwide.

From joining the family business in 2013 to playing a key role in Arcura's rebrand and growth, his passion for construction and commitment to excellence continue to drive our success.

Last month, we celebrated some fantastic milestones across the team!
Ian Garwood marked his first anniversary with the business on 14 July, while George Wright celebrated an incredible 10 years with us on 25 July. Kirsty Lavell also reached her first anniversary on 28 July.
