That's a wrap on the new saw journey ⚙️

Over the last week, we've shared the journey of our new saw - from collection, to installation, to that all important first cut.

We would like to take a moment to say a big thankyou to Prosaw for supplying the saw and for the support throughout the process

A special thankyou also goes to Danny Ashton, who came out to site to help with the setup and provide training for our team. Having that support on hand made the whole process that much smoother, and we really appreciate it

We're excited to see what this investment brings for High Peak Steels and, most importantly, how it helps us continue delivering on our promise of OTIF - On Time, In Full ✅

Phase 3: The First Cut 🔥

The new saw is officially up and running at High Peak Steels! ⚙️

After collecting the saw and getting it installed, it was time for the moment we’d all been waiting for - the first cut.

This latest investment is another step forward in helping us deliver what matters most to our customers: OTIF - On Time In Full ✅

More effecient cutting, great capacity and the same commitment to getting the right steel to you, when you need it.

After the journey back to High Peak Steels, it was time to get our new saw into position.

From unloading and positioning the machine to getting everything installed and ready for action, there's been plenty going on behind the scenes.

This latest investment is another step forward for High Peak Steels, helping us continue to improve our capabilities, effeciency and the service we provide to our customers.

And, of course, a new machine means one thing...

It's time to put it to work 👊

Yesterday, an issue arose with one of our customer's orders. It would have been easy to make excuses or wait to rectify it, but that's not how we do things at High Peak Steels

We fixed the problem immediately, and one of our sales team is now on the road personally delivering the order to make sure our customer gets what they need without delay

For us, customer service isn't just about answering the phone or taking an order. It's about taking ownership, finding solutions, and doing what it takes to put things right
