Kitchens are one of my favourite jobs to take on. 🏠

This one is coming together nicely. New units fitted, appliances and sink in, slate floor tiles laid, and everything lined up and level before the finishing touches.

3 signs your exterior paint needs attention before it gets worse 👇

1. Paint is bubbling or peeling away from the wall — once moisture gets underneath, it spreads fast.
2. The colour has faded badly or gone chalky — the surface is no longer protecting the wall underneath.
3. You can see cracks appearing — small ones let water in, and water causes big problems over time.

The earlier you catch these, the cheaper and simpler the fix. Leave it too long and you're looking at replastering on top of repainting.

🔨 A good kitchen starts long before the units go in — here's a look at what goes into getting it right.

First the walls are properly prepared and plastered. Then the spotlights go in — all correctly installed and tested. Only once everything is prepped to a high standard do the units start going up.

It might seem like extra effort, but this is what makes the difference between a kitchen that looks great and one that actually stands the test of time. I do every stage myself, so nothing gets skipped or rushed.
