Proud day for the team at WSI as we welcomed Eoin Caughey from Cancer Focus Northern Ireland into our offices, to mark the ยฃ1576 raised for this wonderful charity, through our fundraising efforts at the Belfast City Marathon. ๐Ÿƒ ๐ŸŽ‰

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraising page and cheered for our two relay teams along the route - every step and bead of sweat was worth it knowing we were running for a charity that provides incredible support to cancer patients and their families right across Northern Ireland. ๐Ÿซถ ๐Ÿฉต

It was an amazing team effort for a cause close to so many peopleโ€™s hearts - a huge pat on the back to all involved...you did us all proud! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š

Yesterday, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we treated the team to lunch before welcoming Joe from The Gathering Drum in for a music therapy drumming session โ€” and safe to say there were some hidden talentsโ€ฆ and some people who definitely wonโ€™t be leaving their day jobs! ๐Ÿ™‰

It was a great way for the team to switch off from the day-to-day, relieve a bit of stress, with plenty of laugh therapy thrown in for good measure! ๐Ÿคฃ

Weโ€™re delighted to announce that we are finalists in two categories at the prestigious UK-wide Water Industry Awards 2026 ๐Ÿ† for our client NI Waterโ€™s Energy Reduce Use Pump Optimisation Programme.

Alongside our JV partner GEDA Construction and our client Northern Ireland Water, weโ€™re shortlisted in the following categories:

- Alliance or Partnership of the Year ๐Ÿค
- Asset Management Initiative of the Year โš™๏ธ

Being recognised at a UK-wide level highlights the strength of our collaboration and the impact of working together to deliver more energy-efficient and sustainable solutions across the water sector. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ง

The awards ceremony will take place on 24th June at The Vox, Birmingham.

Our two relay teams are gearing up to take on the Belfast City Marathon in support of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland on Sunday 3rd May.๐Ÿฉต

Training is in full swing and the legs have entered the โ€œwhy are you doing this to us?โ€ phase ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

But every mile is for such a worthy cause. Cancer affects so many lives, and the work Cancer Focus NI does provides real support, care and hope when itโ€™s needed most.

Every step we will take is for those affected, and every donation helps make a real difference. ๐Ÿ’›
