🏆 Recognising Outstanding Safety Awareness Across Our Sites, our May RONM Awards!

Congratulations to Gheorghe Cambur at Oriel! 👏 He identified unsafe conditions including materials stored in access corridors, hanging cables, and overhead hazards, all posing a significant risk of trips and falls. Brilliant awareness, Gheorghe!

A huge well done also to Shane Spence at the Murphy Hub site in Golborne, Greater Manchester, who spotted poor cable management and holes in the slab, and then took action to make the area safe. The kind of ownership we love to see! 👏

We recorded over 100 RONMs in May, a fantastic milestone that reflects the growing safety culture across our teams 💙

At Catterick Integrated Care Campus, Trevor Linley has done it again! Trevor’s consistent use of the RONM app and keen eye for spotting hazards has secured him another voucher 🏆

In London on the Oriel project, Valeriu Fornea has been recognised for his great engagement with the reporting system and the quality of his hazard notifications, which has also earned himself a voucher 🎉

We are pleased to invite applications for an experienced Fire Door Joiner to join Horbury Property Services Ltd, working as part of our growing Passive Fire Protection team on sites nationwide.

💼 Role Overview
• Position: Fire Door Joiner
• Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per annum
• Contract: Full time, permanent
• Travel: Nationwide site work

🌱 What We Offer
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Company van (role‑dependent), PPE and branded uniform
• Pension scheme (salary sacrifice)
• Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 wellbeing support

✅ What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in fire door joinery (installation, inspection or maintenance)

Our Joinery team Horbury Joinery, delivered high‑quality installations throughout all floors, supported by Titan Flooring Limited across Levels 1 and 2 of the Library, delivered in collaboration with Mace 📚

Key features include:
🔹 Castle‑themed children’s play area
🔹 Full-height atrium with feature staircase and panelling
🔹 Window bench seating, workbenches & desks
🔹 Rare Books display unit
🔹 Large glazed screens, training kitchen & office suites.

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Fire Door Joiner to join our team in Rotherham!

💼 Apprenticeship Details
• Wage: £16,640 in your first year (may increase depending on age)
• Hours: 40 per week, Monday–Friday, typically 8:00am–5:00pm
• Training: Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery with The Sheffield College
• Start Date: 1 May 2026
• Duration: 2 years
• Positions Available: 1

📍 Location: South Grove House, Rotherham, S60 2AF

✅ Requirements
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade 3/D or above)
• Ability to use hand and basic battery tools
• Understanding of construction basics
• Full UK driving licence (or a clear plan to obtain one)
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem‑solving skills

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential for full‑time employment.

Not all heroes wear capes… sometimes they wear Hi-Vis! 🦺🦸

We are proud to present the latest Environ Award to Harry Clarke for his incredible actions during a recent medical emergency at Symmetry Park.

When a contractor from another company suffered an epileptic seizure and a serious head injury, Harry stepped in straight away. Even with poor phone signal on site, he managed to reach emergency services quickly and clearly, making sure help arrived fast.

His calm approach and quick thinking genuinely made a difference and showed huge commitment to keeping everyone on site safe.

Here’s Harry receiving his award and a gift voucher from Paul Johnson, Environ's Associate Director. A very well‑deserved recognition! 👏💙
