🏆 Health & Safety Recognition👏

Earlier this week, we were delighted to present one of our Health & Safety awards, along with a voucher, to Michael Dooley, one of our joiners working at Kirkstall Road in Leeds.

Michael was nominated after being observed by a member of the principal contractor's management team, who described his work area setup as a "textbook example" of best practice within the apartments.

Setting up and managing noisy, dusty work correctly requires a number of important control measures, and it's fantastic to see Michael working to such a high standard.

Well done, Michael, a great example of the safety culture we strive for across all our sites. 🙌

🛠️ It's World Youth Skills Day! 🌟

Today is all about celebrating young people building the skills they need for a great future, and it feels like the perfect day to say a big thank you to the work experience students who've spent time with us recently! 📩

We've had four work experience placements join us over the past month, and one of our students left us with some lovely words 📝

🎉 A brilliant achievement worth celebrating (even a little after the event!)

Huge congratulations to PACT Sheffield, our charity partner for 2026, on an incredible night at their Charity Ball, raising a total of £26,118.50 for families affected by childhood cancer.

As proud supporters of PACT throughout the year, we know just how much hard work, generosity and community spirit goes into a result like this.

💙 They did it! The Horbury Hobblers conquered the Yorkshire Three Peaks 🏔️ Raising vital funds for PACT Sheffield Parents Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia.

🏆 Recognising Outstanding Safety Awareness Across Our Sites, our May RONM Awards!

Congratulations to Gheorghe Cambur at Oriel! 👏 He identified unsafe conditions including materials stored in access corridors, hanging cables, and overhead hazards, all posing a significant risk of trips and falls. Brilliant awareness, Gheorghe!

A huge well done also to Shane Spence at the Murphy Hub site in Golborne, Greater Manchester, who spotted poor cable management and holes in the slab, and then took action to make the area safe. The kind of ownership we love to see! 👏

We recorded over 100 RONMs in May, a fantastic milestone that reflects the growing safety culture across our teams 💙

If you see something, report it. Every near miss reported is an incident prevented.

👏 A big well done to our April RONM award winners!

At Catterick Integrated Care Campus, Trevor Linley has done it again! Trevor’s consistent use of the RONM app and keen eye for spotting hazards has secured him another voucher 🏆

In London on the Oriel project, Valeriu Fornea has been recognised for his great engagement with the reporting system and the quality of his hazard notifications, which has also earned himself a voucher 🎉

Fantastic work gents, keep it up!
