This is T Levels Week!
We are delighted that we currently have two students on their industry placement with us. They are both studying their Engineering and Manufacturing Level 3 T-Levels from Wiltshire College.
Jack (in photo with Peter, our MD) completes his 315 hours placement with us this week and says, “I chose to do a T Level, rather than three A-levels, because I wanted a specific and tailored course. I hope to do a degree in Mechanical Engineering next, and I aspire for a future career in the Navy. The Apsley team have been really friendly and supportive, even when I’ve made mistakes!”
Over the last 10 months we've seen Jack grow and develop. He is focussed on his future, understands the commitment needed to achieve his goals, and applies himself to each task he has been set. We look forward to seeing where his career path takes him.
Alex started with us in September and has impressed the team with his enthusiasm and the ability to understand an engineering problem and apply himself to find a solution. Even at this early stage we feel he's on the right path to becoming a great engineer.
Alex says, “The hands-on experience, practical projects, and industry placement have been the highlights parts of course so far. I'd highly recommend it to anyone considering a future in engineering.”
T Level learners like Alex and Jack are helping us to create a talent pipeline of skilled future employees to our and other business.
