A lot of work happening across all our divisions throughout this project. With our construction team out the front working on groundworks and preparing the entrance. Our engineering, HVAC, refurbishment, fabrication and fire protection teams are all combining their skillsets to transform the inside of this welfare block project.

Including tiling, carpentry, air conditioning and electrical installations, the interior is starting to form and our complete formation of the building is starting to be filled all with the same hard work from us all at Smart CI Group.

An upgraded electrical installation for this welfare block, all part of our ongoing major project.

The electrical team have completed the design and installation of the new distribution boards within the welfare block, delivering a clean, organised, and efficient power distribution setup ready to support the building’s operations.

We recently completed a full refurbishment of a specialist quarantine facility for a major UK visitor attraction - a highly controlled back-of-house space used for aquatic life care and quarantine.

The existing area had become outdated and restricted the client's ability to introduce upgraded tank systems and improved workflows. Our task was to create a purpose-built, structurally robust environment that met modern operational safety, and welfare requirements.

Our teams removed outdated structures, installed new load-bearing tank bases, fitted a bespoke GRP suspended floor, built a purpose-designed office space, and upgraded fire safety with two new compliant fire exits.

This was a true multi-division project, brining together construction, fabrication, electrical, fire protection, and finishing teams to create a clean durable, and future-ready environment.

Creating bespoke solutions for the zoo industry is always a privilege 🐒

Our team recently designed and fabricated this custom stainless steel cage for use with the spider monkeys, working closely with the zoo staff from initial site measurements through to final installation.

Seeing first-hand the incredible care teams provide for their animals made this project even more rewarding. This specialised, vet-approved enclosure is designed to support safe, low-stress treatment, tailored perfectly to its environment.
