It is with great sadness that we share the news that our founder John Williams has passed away.

John started Wrencon in 1987 with his wife Marcia, building it up over the next 33 years before handing over to his grandson Jake. He was a familiar face to so many local residents, tradesmen and suppliers, and he never lost his belief that a good job and a handshake still mattered.

John passed away peacefully after a determined battle with Parkinson's.

His funeral will be held at St Andrew's Church, West Hatch. For more details please email [email protected].

Pinkery Roof — Complete!

From a roof that had definitely seen better days, to this! 👏

After carefully working to the lines and character of the existing building, the new roof is now complete.
With not a single straight line or piece of timber the same length, this one certainly kept us on our toes!

But the finished result speaks for itself.

A challenging project, but one we’re really pleased to have brought back to life.

Pinkery Roof — Before & Progress!

This roof had definitely seen better days… 😳

Built to the lines of the building rather than a straight line in sight, with hardly a piece of timber cut to the same length — it was certainly a challenge!

We’ve stripped it back, put in the hard graft and started bringing this roof back to life, while keeping the character and lines of the original building.

Here’s a look at where we started and how things are progressing…

🚧 New Project | Bindon House Hotel, Langford Budville

We’re pleased to be getting started on the refurbishment of the fire-damaged wing at the historic Bindon House Hotel.

This one is a full transformation — starting with a complete strip-out, followed by a new roof, electrics and plumbing, before bringing the space back together and giving it a fresh lease of life. 🔨🏗️
It’s certainly a bit of a mess at the moment, but that’s where we come in! 👷‍♂️

🎓 Back to school throwback!

As students head back for another year, we’re looking back at a project we completed at King’s College in 2023.

From modernised bathrooms and kitchens to welcoming common room spaces, our team delivered a refurbishment designed to create practical, comfortable spaces for students to live, learn and relax.

A great project to look back on — and a reminder of the work that goes into creating spaces that are ready for the next generation 👷‍♂️🔨

The finishing touches at Barn Owl Farm bring the whole space together — with warm brass fittings adding a timeless, considered feel to this beautifully crafted bathroom.

From the statement shower to the understated tapware, every detail has been carefully selected to complement the character of the space.
