On Saturday 20 June, we’re hosting our third annual Christeyns Cup at Silverlands Stadium in Buxton.

The football will be a round-robin 11-a-side tournament, with matches played between teams from across the Christeyns UK divisions including:
Christeyns Professional Hygiene (Whaley Bridge)
Christeyns UK (Bradford)
Christeyns Food Hygiene (Warrington)

This year, we’re raising money for Bright Opps, a brilliant local charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. It’s a cause that means a lot to us, especially as someone in our own team benefits from the support they provide 💙

We’d love for you to come down, bring the family and enjoy the day while supporting a great cause.

This Easter, the Whaley Bridge Traders group is bringing the whole village together with a fantastic Easter Egg Hunt for local families. Children are heading out to find clues hidden in shops around the village and enjoy a great community day out.

At Christeyns Professional Hygiene UK, we’re really pleased to support something that means so much to the community on our doorstep. Donating Easter eggs for the hunt is a small way for us to give back, and we’re glad to help make the day a bit more exciting for the children taking part.

Thanks to the incredible support from our local community, our charity raffle raised £1,150 for Ashgate Hospice, beating our original target.

This simply wouldn’t have happened without the kindness of local businesses who donated prizes and everyone who bought a ticket or helped spread the word. Your support will help Ashgate Hospice continue providing vital care to people and families in our community.

Yesterday we hosted an event for Men’s Mental Health Month as part of Movember, working alongside Mentell to raise awareness and encourage open conversations.

We brought people together whether from the factory, the office, or working remotely to remind everyone that support is available. Our Mental Health First Aiders and Mentell are here to listen and help when things feel tough.

And yes, there were cupcakes! Because sometimes a small treat can make starting the conversation a little easier.

🎉 What a brilliant day at Christeyns Professional Hygiene as we gathered for our annual BBQ to celebrate and thank our amazing team, from Sales and Office to our Factory colleagues, for all their hard work and commitment.

It was more than just great food and sunshine, it was also a brilliant opportunity to support wellbeing in the workplace. Our Mental Health First Aiders hosted some great sporting activities, giving everyone the chance to connect, have fun, and learn more about the support available to them.

A huge thank you to all the organisers and chefs who made the day such a success! 👏🍔

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of organising a STEM Day with Year 8 students at New Mills School.

Our chemists, Ian Stefanuti Head of R&D and Anmol Kuriem who is in her final year of a Chemistry Degree Apprenticeship, led four interactive sessions, exploring how chemistry plays a crucial role in our daily lives and how it can be both exciting and rewarding. The students also took part in a hands-on activity, showcasing the importance of chemistry in our production processes and highlighting the career opportunities within the professional hygiene sector.

A sincere thank you to Darren Lytham, Teacher and Head of Careers at New Mills School, for his invaluable support in organising and contributing to the success of this event.

It is always inspiring to see young minds engaging with science, and we hope this experience has sparked curiosity and enthusiasm for future careers in STEM!
