From apartment to maisonette.

Η μελέτη αφορά την αναδιαμόρφωση διαμερίσματος Β’ ορόφου και τη δημιουργία σοφίτας, με στόχο τη μετατροπή του σε διώροφη κατοικία τύπου μεζονέτας.

Το έργο επανασχεδιάζει πλήρως την εσωτερική οργάνωση και την κατακόρυφη κυκλοφορία, με κεντρικό στοιχείο το εσωτερικό κλιμακοστάσιο και τον εξώστη που ενοποιούν τα επίπεδα.

Η σοφίτα λειτουργεί ως ο κύριος χώρος καθημερινής ζωής, με επιλεγμένα ανοίγματα που πλαισιώνουν τη θέα προς τον Παρθενώνα.

Η μορφή της μεταλλικής στέγης καθορίζει την αρχιτεκτονική ταυτότητα του άνω όγκου και ολοκληρώνει τη σύνθεση της κατοικίας.

The project transforms a second-floor apartment into a two-level maisonette through the addition of an attic level.

A central staircase and internal void connect the levels, redefining the internal layout and vertical circulation.

The attic becomes the main living space, framing selected views towards the Acropolis.

The metal roof defines the architectural identity of the upper volume and completes the composition of the residence.

Το κτήριο διαμορφώνεται ως ενιαίος, μονολιθικός όγκος, με ελεγχόμενα ανοίγματα και συνειδητή απουσία προεξοχών.
Η κατακόρυφη ρυθμικότητα της όψης και η καθαρότητα της γεωμετρίας συγκροτούν μια πειθαρχημένη αστική παρουσία.

Στο εσωτερικό, η θερμή υλικότητα (δρύινα δάπεδα, επενδύσεις καρυδιάς, ορυκτές υφές) διαμορφώνει έναν ήρεμο και συνεκτικό χώρο κατοίκησης.

Internally, warm materiality (oak flooring, walnut millwork, mineral textures) shapes a calm and cohesive living environment.

Το έργο αφορά τον ολιστικό μετασχηματισμό υφιστάμενου κτηρίου μέσω αδειοδοτημένης προσθήκης καθ’ ύψος, επέκτασης στο ισόγειο και συνολικού ανασχεδιασμού των όψεων.

Η ενοποίηση της αρχιτεκτονικής γλώσσας και η επιλογή γήινων, θερμών αποχρώσεων με αναφορά σε τερακότα / oxide δημιουργούν μια νέα, σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική ταυτότητα και επαναπροσδιορίζουν τη σχέση του κτηρίου με τον αστικό του περίγυρο.

Το έργο αναδεικνύει την αρχιτεκτονική όχι ως απλή προσθήκη επιφάνειας, αλλά ως διαδικασία σύνθεσης και αρχιτεκτονικής ταυτότητας.

The project involves the holistic transformation of an existing building through a fully licensed vertical extension, a ground-floor expansion, and the complete redesign of its façades.

The unification of the architectural language, combined with warm earth tones inspired by terracotta and oxide finishes, establishes a new contemporary identity and redefines the building’s relationship with its urban context.

This project reflects our approach to architecture not merely as an addition of space, but as a process of integration and architectural identity.
