Where it began.

One of the earliest development tests behind Mac Uaid Enterprises Limited.

Our first attempts at bringing a character into Unreal Engine 5.
Everything was broken.

The animation felt off.
The arms, the movement, even the clothing didn’t behave as expected.

It wasn’t polished.
But it proved something important.

That this vision was possible.

From those early experiments, we are now building
Emerald Blood: Songs of the Ancients 🌿

A cinematic experience inspired by Irish myth, history, and place.

This is just the beginning.

Creating the world of Emerald Blood begins with terrain generation.

Here we are using Gaea 2.0, a node-based terrain tool, to generate realistic heightmaps through simulated geological processes like erosion and sediment flow.

These heightmaps are then imported into Unreal Engine 5.6, where they become the foundation of our world building, from mountains and valleys to coastlines and forests.

This pipeline allows us to create landscapes inspired by Ireland’s real geography and mythology.

We’ve been quietly working on something for a while, and today we’re ready to share a short, in progress teaser of where the project is currently at.
Emerald Blood, Songs of the Ancients, Ailbhe’s Journey is an Irish made open world game set over a thousand years ago.
The game explores Irish myth, culture and language through a living landscape, and is being developed with the support of cultural partners to help ensure an authentic and respectful approach to history and mythology.
The world is built to reflect the real landscape of Leinster, allowing place, memory and exploration to guide the experience.
This teaser gives a sense of the world we’re creating, and more will be shared as development continues.

Nosila Crafts offers hand-poured soy candles, wax melts, soaps, body butters and handcrafted gift bundles, all made in small batches with a strong focus on quality, natural ingredients and beautiful scents. Each product is designed to bring a little calm, comfort and indulgence into everyday life.

This launch marks an exciting new chapter for our company, supporting Irish-made products and creative enterprise.

We did it! 🎉

After 11 weeks of hard work, late nights, workshops, and countless pitch rehearsals, we completed the MERITS Tech Pre-Accelerator today, and presented the very first teaser trailer for our game Emerald Blood: Songs of the Ancients.

This programme pushed us, inspired us, and helped us shape the future of our studio.
